I get that, and I was more or less neutral on him going on Fox News to do that townhall and going on Rogan's show and even boosting the endorsement, I just think going this route doesn't really bode well for his governing strategy.

What he's openminded? What's the problem?

Lol Democrats had Michael Bloomberg give a speech at the 2016 convention and he has years of actual documented harm against black people, ramped up efforts to surveil muslims and has made disparaging comments towards women. But hey he's a multi-billionaire who donates millions to them and basically owns half of the party so it's okay I guess. Democratic elites have welcomed in complete ghouls like David Frum, Bill Kristol and other never Trump Republicans who probably jerk off at the thought of increased Muslim surveillance. save the outrage lol

Hilary is literally on record saying the European center left needs to move to the right on immigration to become more electable. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are on public record since 2016 saying they chased/are chasing white suburban voters in Pennsylvania and other parts of the country. These are likely not people who have some amazing social views but the Dems are still going after them. This is literally the argument pundits make on MSNBC/CNN all day for Joe Biden. they say he can win back white people in the MidWest who don't have "woke" social views.

The fact that Bernie can get support from people like Joe Rogan and also the black woman who created the term identity politics is more proof at how electable he is. I'll trust the guy who was a socialist during the Reagan era in the red state of Vermont
You really haven't answered the question.

You tell me which Joe Rogan voters we should court first. The ones that think black people are apes? Or the ones that think women are bitter c*nts?

lol i reject the premise of the question and I also reject the Twitter outrage while Obama, Biden and the Democrats all have aggressively courted people in the last 13 years who have social views I don't agree with. The likely nominee Biden is literally doing that right now. Will these same people getting mad, get mad in seven months when Biden goes to Wisconsin and panders to them?

Bernie went on Joe's show and didn't change a single belief to pander to his viewers. He didn't give an inch and the interview got positive feedback. Liberals literally change their policies from the primary to the general to cater to rich white racists who have all the power(Michael Bloomberg). Bernie's courting and winning constituencies in several states that aren't entrenched to corporate power.

Letting the fossil fuel and banking industry steer your economic agenda for decades under the guise of moderation in the general election is not the same thing as appearing on America's most popular podcast to offer a competing vision of politics to people who probably aren't registered to vote.

You should ask why the DCCC is funding and protecting a literal homophobe while we're out here trying to move the party to make a platform for universal policies.

Liberals Say Sanders’s Acceptance Of Rogan Endorsement Sends Dangerous Message He Trying To Win Election

WASHINGTON—Slamming the campaign for promoting the popular podcaster’s backing, liberals said Friday that Bernie Sanders’s acceptance of Joe Rogan’s endorsement sends a dangerous message that the candidate is trying to win the 2020 presidential election. “This is just the Sanders campaign opening the gates to a plurality of people who would vote for him and help him win the presidency,” said political commentator Scott Griffin, who called the campaign’s promotion of Rogan’s endorsement a true “mask off” moment, exposing Sanders’s goal of winning the Democratic primary and eventually the general election. “It’s very unnerving to see a Democratic candidate like Bernie Sanders try to court voters from varying constituencies and demographics. It’s like his whole strategy is beating Trump. We saw hints of this in 2016, but I’m truly sickened to see it rearing its ugly head again. I’m all for creating a Democratic majority, but not if we have to accept more people than the other side has.” Griffin added that it was even more disturbing that Sanders would attempt this during an election year.

We're finally seeing who are the Bernie Bros on this site.

Most of his supporters have accepted this potential endorsement with caution.

8 months ago Yang got a booth post Rogan and made it clear he wasn't with that alt righters jumping on his campaign. He's still good.

I imagine Bernie could have done similar and lost no support, but that's the difference.

Is this really what they’re gonna with? Bernie’s online supporters are mean and use the same tactics as the Russians?
They sent out tons of Hilary hate before Donnie went at her. He just repeated 90% of what Bernie posters do.

Warren and Bernie fans are doing it this year tho. You’re killing your own political party before the real fight even begins.

Biden fans have stayed on code for the most part. I hate Liz but id never post it publicly.

y’all are becoming absolutely toxic to the party. It’s only hurting us

I have one thing to say on this Rogan endorsement and that’s it.

If y’all are gonna be mega outraged that Sanders is endorsed by someone “who is transphobic” well there is sure a hell of a lot of transphobia on this very site that y’all could be putting in work to clean up and I don’t see much of that at all.

@Cole Cash made a pro-trans thread and the only one who came to back him up was @storyteller

I look forward to seeing our newly pro-trans friends here in this thread spreading that message into TLR, TB, and TC.
