You made the claim that Warren was morally above going on a show like Rogan’s. How is a counter example of her going on a compromised platform not relevant?

Maybe you didn't see my first post or maybe I just need to say it again. This site is pretty transphobic, like easily comparable if not worse than what Rogan said. There is more than ample opportunity to make inroads on that front right here. From reading through some threads I have seen you, @Pressure and @Ya' Cousin Cleon make a few pro trans comments so I will give you three credit. But there are others who are making these claims politically expediently.

@śïñe•qúå_nøn makes a few appearances in here.

There's plenty to go at Rogan at on racial issues and platforming alt-right people don't need to act like this is a cornerstone issue for them when it was not.

Secondly, we are coming off of a week of Joe Biden lying about things he is on camera saying.

And Warren plagiarized recipes for that pow wow chow cook book.

Given the outrage after the Bernie endorsement those two would have every incentive to deny wanting to go on the show.

I don't trust any of the three of them, but Rogan has the least incentive to lie here because his comments were made before the outrage began. That is what makes the most sense to me. They are politicians who wanted to go on the largest platform at a time there was little risk in doing so and when the risk became high they distanced themselves. Also, Warren's aide didn't even deny, just said "wasn't aware".

In the grand scheme of this it's still fucc Rogan but that is the way I see what transpired here.

That's kind of a false equivalence isn't it? I see TBC as problematic for giving air to people pushing natural/alternative medicine junk. Whereas Rogan gives air to people pushing things ranging from scientific racism to rape apologia among other odious beliefs.

Rogan is also an uncritical douche and will nod along with almost anything.

This is a cornerstone issue for me. I also fully recognize that a lot people don't really care and are only using this to attack Bernie, but I can't control what other people do.

I'm not a Biden supporter, and dread having to vote for him if he is the nominee.

As far as Warren and her recipes are concerned, you won't get any defense outta me for that.

I can't take Rogan at his word. It's another thing if he produced something showing they reached out, but as it stands, I just don't believe him. I mean, it doesn't make sense for the "have the conversation" guy to turn any of them down. It also doesn't make sense for Biden to seek an interview with someone like that... especially when he's talked about Biden and how handsy he is w/ women and children in the past. Further, that risk *always* existed. His bigoted history is long.

I was getting at Charlemagne being problematic for his metoo allegations so I guess the validity of the equivalence would depend how how you gauge the veracity of those allegations.

:russ: But Hillary this week

Yes Hillary is bitter :mjlol:, but jesus, she isn't every woman.

To be fair to Hillary, half of America has hated her since she said she wasn't around to bake cookies.

She sparked feminists everywhere and earned the eternal emnity of people who think women should be seen and not heard.

She was unpopular because there was a deep rooted hatred, that influences every other opinion of her.

How is going on Rogan any different than going on the breakfast club? You don’t think Charlemagne is comparably problematic?

It’s the largest podcast platform, it’s not some conspiratorial reason of why they would want to go on there...

No.
