Bezos and Zuckerberg are gleefully waiting to see how much the presidency can be purchased for.

Bloomberg is a Democrat. So is Joe Manchin. Bernie Sanders is not.

No need to argue against facts.

Just say you don't like his politics. :mjlol:
Well, both are currently running as Democrats; however, Bloomberg has actually held office as a Republican and endorsed Dubya in 2004.

Sanders for all of his bullshyt wouldn't do either. Even as a bytchass Independent his voting record, for the most part, is identical to a generic Democrat's.

Hell, conservadems like Manchin don't typically debase themselves like this:

So let's not pretend Bloomberg has better Democratic bona fides than somebody who is currently in the party's Senatorial leadership. If you think he'd be a more effective POTUS that's another matter.

You elect Bloomberg your basically electing Tom Cotton in 2024..which makes it 3 republicans in a row.

I don't think Cotton has the requisite charisma to win the nomination in a post-Trump GOP. DeSantis, on the other hand, would be the "successful" Governor of Florida who already ran a MAGA-lite campaign in a "swing state" and won.

Also given Biden, Sanders, and Bloomberg's ages there's a chance they'd all be one-term presidents for one reason or another. Which is another reason why this election should be about winning the Senate.

The person best for down-ballot races should be the nominee.

Exactly, so stay on topic and stop worrying about my pockets/pay rate. I'm doing fine and I'm definitely not worried about yours.
What is this!? People simply came in here and said those raises are a norm, and you absolutely should be advocating for them given your position on strengthening labor...but is this part of the revolution that only starts if Bernie is president? :lupe:

We've spent the last day and a half talking about black policy and black upward mobility.

Being able to know the going rate for the jobs we have, pay structure, raise structure and open communication with those who are responsible for that is important for our success.

If you don't care then say that, but don't attempt to make this a personal attack. You're an educated man in a city full of jobs.

:scust:

You need to set up a 1:1 with your boss.

Yeah, this was a serious comment (smiley face and all) about all the above you just mentioned? Dawg, how phony are you going to be?
Just leave it be, it's not important to the '2020 Democratic Primary Watch' and we definitely aren't that cool for you to offer me backhanded advice.

Completely agree :salute:

Unfortunately it's not particularly obvious at the moment who that actually is. :francis:

We were quoting one another. You disagreed with my assertion about wages normally being tied to inflation and I let it be. Then 'People' came in and commented on my situation personally not what 'the norm' is. Don't mischaracterize what happened.
