People are really into straight up revisionist history. They stated that she was the front runner and powered by African-Americans from the jump: Kamala Harris is strong among some groups, but has one big problem - CNNPolitics. That has never been true, and the Joe Biden bullshyt has not been true either. Now they are saying that Biden’s support from Black voters has dropped by a ton in two weeks? That is just straight up nonsense. You do not drop by that high a percentage in two weeks when people are not saying anyththing about you. It was never that high to begin with, and they are trying to save face before those South Carolina results expose him. They are now trying the same with Bloomberg, but they have become even lazier because they really expect people to believe that the architect of stop-and-frisk has Black people teeming with excitement. It has become apparent how they operate with their “polling.”
that's literally right after she launched her campaign and it's a poll of favorability and name recognition, not support. the whole arc of her campaign was how she wasn't connecting to/winning the black vote

on MSNBC Ari Melber was interviewing people about who they voted for and this old lady just said that she was deciding between multiple candidates including Warren, Bennett and Bernie and she voted for Bernie because MSNBC's negative coverage of him made her angry enough to vote for Bern :russ:

I keep sayin that Democrats have to start ringing this bell NOW.

If/When they win the White House all this shyt gonna crumble.
I feel you, but the media would flip it on the Dems. Trump and the republicans would say that the Dems are hoping for a recession, and hurting consumer confidence. The media would back them up to. The Dems are really in a catch 22.

This is part of the risk you run when you attack someone who has high approval. Same was true for those who went after Biden. When you do it, you not only risk rallying the base, but voters who feel they aren't getting a fair shake :manny:

Cast my vote in Dover, NH today too, like @Listen. Had no idea that it was a predictive city in the NH Primaries.

My guy has always been Bennett, so he got my vote today. I know he ain't winning NH or the nomination but fukk it, sticking to my guns. Yang is my #2, but I can't get on board with the UBI as is written....too bad, he is a solid candidate.

Bernie will win the Seacoast area based on everything I am seeing, and will prob take the state. Biden is a dead man walking, might as well pack it in. My girl been caping hard for Liz, canvasing, donating, volunteering. Liz seems to be on a spiral too, in her neighboring state....not a good sign.

Pete and Amy got local support too, so I think they round out the top 3. I am under no illusions that NH speaks for the country, since this is a lily white state, but I think it is a 3 dog fight from here on out with Bernie, Pete and Amy.

Biden, Liz, Steyer, Tulsi will be gone after SC is my prediction.

I remember a This American Life episode before the 2016 election where they interviewed Trump supporters and why some people are voting for him. One guy and what he said to me stuck out. He said he likes "being a scamp" or go against the grain of what people want. He said the more the media attacked Trump he viewed it as them trying to tell him who to vote for and the more it made him want to vote for Trump out of spite.

Not saying its an intelligent response or way of thinking but hearing that really cemented in my mind how these people don't realize that part of the reason certain people get support is in spite of the people who come out and tell them they are wrong or stupid for supporting these people. Especially, when there is a feeling that the people "talking down to them" are often the people or class at fault for why they think the country is in a bad place to begin with.

Think I've said it before during one of the many times for example where Hillary came out and attacked Bernie Sanders. The fact its Hillary and she gives off the aura of a "hater" makes a lot of people want to vote for Sanders more. The best strategy is to lay low and pretend the dude doesn't even matter instead of actively trying to smear him. The latter becomes a big issue when it seems the smears defy logic such as the clip someone posted of the woman praise klobachar coming third and how that is more important than the guy who is coming first :dwillhuh:

But I think these people are so insulated in their bubble and their elite club and connections, they cant see how much they are disliked and how much people want to see them "lose" effectively.

Bloomberg gone be done in the south once this audio spreads for a week or so. I’m glad about that. I can stomach just about all the Dem candidates and all of the top 5-6. But Bloomberg is the Opps

Him and Bootyman gonna get kicked to the curb after Nevada and California
