Did Trump pick a more moderate running mate? Or did he pick a right wing loony? Y’all gotta stop being so scared man

You're making the same mistake Hillary made with Kaine then. Everyone and their mother knew she needed a progressive running mate and she picked the safest most moderate running mate possible and a lot of progressive voters stayed home because it looked like failure on Hillary's party to reach out to the progressive side of the party. If Bernie wins the nomination he's going to need someone to appeal to the moderate side of the party. We aren't the republican party, we're an incredibly diverse party with an electorate that worries about a wide range of issues. I post on another board that is clearly Democratic but more moderate than progressive. And the closer you get to the middle the more those Democrats don't like Bernie and you're going to need to secure that vote. Republicans don't have the diversity we have, they don't have to appeal to different factions in the party because they're all wack jobs or spineless and afraid to stop the wack jobs. And Pence was a good pick because and evangelist that questioned Trump's faith, pence helped secure that vote. This party isn't lockstep like Republicans, Democrats are a1/3 are progressive, the other 1/3 moderate, the other 1/3 in between.

I keep seeing cacs talking about black voters and getting the black vote but what about the hispanic vote? Its almost insulting at times how they talk about us. I never see/hear that same energy when it comes to the Hispanic vote.
Cause Latinos haven’t proven themselves reliable yet.

Because of the fact you have to register, even if you are legal someone close to you isn’t and Republicans have run on putting police at polling places looking for them ie scare tactics.

That’s why Cubans are so loose with voting Republicans. They are mostly legal cause of that dry foot policy.

Lmaoo tulsi :russ: you think the dnc will allow that if Bernie gets the nomination! He better get a centrist woman vp. I think Stacy abrams would be the perfect choice. Even though Warren or Klobuchar would be good choices I think they should stay in the Senate and do work. If any of them leave for vp then that will leave a senate seat open and god knows we need the senate back.

Tusli makes sense more than Pete, way more and I've told several people who have floated a Bernie/Gabbard ticket that she's a net negative, but at least she's someone that the establishment hates almost as much as Bernie, which would be an insurance policy at best.

You shouldn't be removing anybody from the senate or any other important position for VP.

And that's that on that.

Trump directly benefits their ratings and bottom line.
If you suspect that an entire corporate entity is voting agains their economic interests you're nuts.
These people aren't journalists...they're actors.
thats what i try to get across to people IRL. i htink all of us in this thread are on the same page but on different teams. but its the people i talk to daily that make it seem like im on some consiparcy shyt when i run that by them

To be honest, every time Bernie has gone "across the aisle", his policies and ideology resonates and wins over the fans & audience of that program, I.E, Fox News, the Town Hall, the Joe Rogan Podcast.
Because his policies, when shown in an accurate light, are the type of shyt that the majority of the working class would get behind. Simple as that. It really is that fukking simple. People think it’s a cult and all that stuff. My response is you’d have to be crazy to NOT want the stuff the guy is fighting for.

shyt you right. im not scared just trying to be slightly strategic because i want to see him or liz win. issue is we got so many conflicting reports of what the people want i truly dont know what to believe anymore because the internet is a slight bubble and irl im not sure where everyone else is getting their news

You don't gauge what the people want from reports, Trump already gave you the playbook, you need a populist, a real one to beat the fake one, there is nobody on that stage that can do that, and there is no real reason to cop to sitting a 'moderate' behind Bernie, especially given his age and the fact that his person could, and SHOULD be the next President if they are really carrying the torch for the movement that is coming behind him. Making concessions to the same crowd that is otherwise "blue no matter who, except for Bernie" is not a winning strategy.

You act like we haven’t seen this before. People are greedy.

People want stuff but don’t want to pay for it. That’s the knock.

Yes , those of us aren't choosing Bernie because we need our 7th yacht :rudy:

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bernie's m4a plan hurts me badly, to the tune of nearly $5000. And I hate to break it to you, I'm not Jerry Jones, I'm a firemen and my wife is a teacher. He wins the nomination he has my vote, but I rather not see him win the nomination
Seriously?

.....over the course of the year for the 4 people in your family what do you pay for health insurance? Guessing it adds up to more than 5k. :francis:

Probably before adding co-pays. Before adding costs of medications. Not to mention other unexpected medical expenditures. Like...come on, man.
