simple question, for you and anyone else

say instead of biden, moderate white guy who appeals to the middle of the country swing states, obama picks a radical leftist VP

you still like his chances as much :ehh: less or greater?[/QUOTE/}
First off I don’t consider social democracy radical , second McCain picked palin , Obama wins anyway , shyt the more Obama started using dem strategy imo the worse off he was , he barely beat Romney as compared to a mandate practically in 2008

Bernie has already stated he wants a strong progressive as VP. Pulling Amy or Warren from the Senate, especially when they aren't exactly politically aligned with him is stupid.

Anybody on a Sanders ticket should be bracing themselves to take up the movement that he helped build and running in 2024, Amy is not that. We gotta be thinking far beyond this election cycle, this is not a stop gap.

So who is this strong progressive he will call on for VP?

Nina Turner, Tulsi Gabbard...what's next...Cynthia Nixon? I'm waiting for somebody to suggest Omar.

So many of the Bernie Bros have little/no political savvy.

you’re right. He should just pick a republican :yeshrug:

Maybe Tim Kaine will be available again :mjgrin:

I mean you don't have to go that far. Hillary picked a centerist as a centerist. You got Bernie at the top of the ticket and you can even get a progressive to run with him. Now that I think about it, if he picked my man Sherrod Brown :wow::wow::wow::wow::wow: that would be amazing. He should fukking do that shyt. :takedat:

But the fact of the matter is, outside of the internet and even there it's a minority, Tulsi's name is trash in these streets.

black voters want trump out of office. let's be real, we do not fall in love with politicians too often, we're used to them talking out both sides of their mouths, we simply make the pragmatic choice. if bloomberg actually starts picking up votes at the level he's polling at, he's very much in the conversation.
I don’t believe in talking about us as a monolith except when we all hate someone.

Black people want one racist out, so they are they going to vote for another who has not even popped up on a ballot yet? Are you guys aware of how silly you appear. Why have you not commented about the article alleging that he has the same percentage amongst Black voters as Kamala Harris in June?

Nina Turner, Barbara Lee and to a lesser extent, Stacy Abrams and some have floated Ayanna Presley. You got better options that fit the criteria of younger, female and progressive and able to carry his movement I'm open to hearing suggestions.

What you can NOT do is have someone waiting in the wings who isn't 100% on board with M4A or the rest of his platform with considerations to his age, health and continuity moving forward. Klobberjaw or any other moderate sock puppet is democratic establishment game theory that hasn't really proven itself to be a winner, this ain't ain't a game.

Bernie is the man, but his message is not ME, US...the people are the real value in this equation and the movement has to be kept in tact, we can't let it fade like Obama did when he ditched all that 'progressive' shyt he campaigned on to be a self described 80's republican.
