BREAKING: Senate Republicans have blocked an attempt by Democrats to bring up a vote on House-passed election security bills ahead of 2020, shutting down legislation that would have required campaigns to alert to the FBI and FEC about offers of foreign assistance. It marks more House-passed legislation killed or left in McConnell's "graveyard."

“They are attempting to bypass this body’s Rules Committee on behalf of various bills that will seize control over elections from the states and take it from the states and where do they want to put it? They want it to rest in the hands of Washington, D.C. bureaucrats,” she said.

Trump ultimately lost the popular vote in New Hampshire in 2016 by less than 3,000 votes — though his opponent did not need the aid of voters driving over the border to pull off the win.

Trump said he lost N.H. in 2016 due to “hundreds and hundreds” of “buses being shipped up from Massachusetts,” despite no evidence of such action.

This man has so many skeletons in his closet, why he refuses to just write some large checks and go sit down somewhere is beyond me.

:damn:

BTW,

We need NBA on NBC levels of monologues for politics... 1999 NBA Finals came on my YouTube recommended.

"Throughout this Democratic Primary of uncertainty. There was one thing that was certain. The Clinton's reign was over. Therefore, the focus of the Democrats' leading stars became crystal clear: earn the crown that has eluded them. But as the primaries progressed, most were left to reflect on a missed opportunity.

(flash the dropped out candidates)

Still, one denied star managed to shine. A celebrated socialist is moments away from leading his bros into battle. It's the 2nd trip to the Dem primary finals for Bernie Sanders. Will the special forces surrounding the Senator continue to torment his opponents? 2 consecutive primary wins makes him the prohibitive favorite and moves Sanders that much closer to the nomination he covets. :obama:

Uncertainty defined Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar's primary season. But turmoil and lackluster results by Biden and Warren have given way to spectacular achievement and moderate acrimony :mjlol:. When this unconventional collection of centrists lost their leader, they never lost heart. Instead it inspired them to last second heroics and peak performances that have the skeptics asking and voters begging, 'can the midwesterners do it again?"

The window of opportunity is now. But who will persevere through the uncertainty and pressure of a Democratic nomination. This much is certain, the Nevada caucuses and South Carolina primary ARE NEXT."

so basically don't ask questions or expect some semblance of an answer to what would be probably the most radical change to america since the 60's. cool, we don't like low information voters but roll with low information politicians.

Wouldn’t healthcare costs go down seeing as they’re grossly exaggerated in the US and the bulk of the charge being administrative?
are the administrative costs going to be replaced by millions of unaccountable, fully pensioned government employees?

i dare say we might give some of that cost back. we always seem to breeze over that part :skip:

It’s amazing that some Bernie supporters are ok without details of any of his plans but kill Liz for actually laying hers out. Liz has plans and lays out how she will get things done. Bernie gets a pass just by saying M4A with no explanation for implementation. From seemingly politically intelligent Bernie supporters who have dissed Obama’s presidency for failing to get real progressive acts done, this is intellectually inconsistent.

Can’t this logic be used for any job contributing to corruption? Can’t get rid of any big pharma jobs either

This is not remotely close to what was said. You can’t just say something and hope it is true. Sanders quite literally has a detailed plan for everything Warren does and his is usually more aggressive. That’s why progressives went back to him. Medicare 4 All is literally a bill in Congress that he drafted, I have no idea why people are acting as if that shyt doesn’t say there’s like 7 different ways to potential pay for it and we don’t know which one gets passed.
