Usually?I ask again, when was the last time it happened?

Is english not your first language?

Usually they don't, meaning, it hasn't happened before.

No they don't, most Bernie supporters are Democrats that's why they are allowed to vote in these primaries.

????

Are you saying Bernie supporters don't claim to have the largest base of support?

Are you saying that Bernie supporters don't claim to have raised the most money through donations?

so is he this revolutionary candidate that has this diverse coalition who can attract all political affiliations or some guy that has to play the game? :jbhmm:

yall really let these politicians get yall hook line and sinker dont you

does it matter if he is this once in a life time candidate as many of you have touted?

Third party candidates don't win presidencies. Not since the days of Washington, anyway.

Many of you? Just deal with who you are talking to. I never said that. Answer the question.

I think you need to familiarize yourself with English. 'Usually' and 'never' have different meanings. lol
Bernie supporters don't claim anything except support for Bernie universally. We all don't say the same thing. And Bernie raising the most money is just the fact of the matter this election, no claim needs to be made.
Despite money and influence Bernie chose to run as a Dem. And the Democratic party let him, if they were against it they could have blocked it, right? Maybe write a letter to the Chair of the party or something if you don't like it. lol

ok so bernie, this revolutionary candidate, willingly chose to join a corrupt party and primary system despite having a diverse coalition and a platform that appeals to all americans. gotcha

the question is irrelevant being that you and your bros would never say bernie as a candidate or his platform are similar to any past third party candidates

that would be akin to me asking has any candidate like trump ever won the presidency? didnt really matter considering his base.

im sure we are all smart enough not to be restricted to 20th century and older standards in 2020

so either bernie is this revolutionary candidate that isnt shackled by political norms or he isnt

You know all of this could have been avoided if Bernie just ran his massive coalition as an independent?
it's not bernie's fault that the republicans and democrats have monopolies on their respective sides of the aisle :yeshrug: if anti trust laws applied to politics, then both parties would be broken up

Straw man argument. Also I never said any of that stuff about him - but he gained all his success and supporters by running democratic. Where do you think he would'v gotten in 2016 if he ran independent?

The people in this country don't take third party candidates seriously. It's a shame and it should change, but it's the way it is. Also we're too far into the primaries for him to suddenly switch from democratic to independent. It simply would not work.

hate the democratic party and continuously run in the democratic primary, brehs

Not running as R or D can dramatically increase the hoops of getting on a ballot depending on the state. This is why someone like Bernie or Warren would run D, as opposed to I.

Oh that's why it is irrelevant? Not because it the answer goes against your suggestion. Gotcha.
