I mean she shouldve

I honestly think she believes she can win. I don’t think the hope and stuff coming from her camp is like...just phony and stuff. I admire them tbh.
Her camp yes, I agree.

She herself, no. I don't truly believe that at this point. When the primary started my litmus test for her campaign is to prove she isnt running as a spoiler against bernie. I cant trust her to take money out of politics if she is a willing tool of the current dnc.

She hasnt done anything to prove otherwise at this point. Nobody can prove whats going on behind the scenes but she hasnt moved off of two notes.

- enhancing her credibility as a "progressive" alternative aka do what bernie would do. This would include the likes of the criticism of pete and Bloomberg.

- Weaken Bernie's campaign. This include the criticisms, the underhanded political stunts and 1 mostly.

The DNC's Prerferred outcome from this Sanders lead would be this primary becoming a brokered convention. So who's acted the most toward that ideal, who's actions rn assist that outcome most? Even if its at contention with presidential ambitions?

Outside of Bloomberg its Warren. Im still waiting for her to prove me wrong

Of course. But even Trump has said that Bernie’s got a of people. Even Trump can’t deny that.

Bloomberg doesn’t have a dedicated base.

And you have the nerve to call me a hater :dead:

Don’t ever quote me about Bernie again, seems you think he’s the only one entitled to run on a progressive agenda. :camby:

might as well go full on “it’s his turn :sadbron:” and call it a day

I dont think trump wants to run against either of them for various reasons but he would have a tougher time with bernie for sure. Trump always touted crowd sizes of rallies etc and he sees what bernie is doing

I guess Progressives will need all the votes the can get consolidated under one candidate to beat him.

:ld:

Given that minority voters dont buy into Liz as a former POC, the progressive thing to do would be to drop out and throw her support behind bernie. Whom minority voters arent angry at for lying about her ethnicity for benefits.

The media will [continue to] freeze out her and Steyer and neither have the base or strength to fight back. She doesnt share voters with bloomberg and only damages the progressive movement while running.

The wost thing for progressives is a brokered convention. Why is Liz steering us toward just that?
She's third in delegates with 95% of the primary left and y'all been crying for her to drop out for months :mjlol:

Amy went from zero signs of life to getting a surging narrative and hitting a $12M lick off one debate performance, Liz ain't dropping out until she has to, deal with that

The only reason Young Bern ran in 2016 was cause he asked Liz to run and she chose to kiss queen Hillary’s ring and wait her turn like a good “just a player in the game,” so Young Bern was like fukk it, guess I have to be the progressive candidate since no one else will.

Then she called him a sexist. Time for her to :camby:

I understand if she wants to wait until super Tuesday for the final nail in the coffin to drop out, but she doesn’t have to shyt on the progressive base on the way out.

He has been praising aspects of those governments & wants to apply them to the US, he doesn't have to explain that position, he's been doing that proudly for decades. He, once again, has identified as a democratic socialist, & not just a socialist.

You and I know what he’s talking about, but I don’t think many of these uninformed voters will. The USSR and Cuba are seen as failures. Even though they may have had positive aspects, there’s a stigma attached to them.

Honestly I’m not sure why they even call themselves democratic socialists if they want to be like the Scandinavian countries. Those are capitalist countries.
That’s a fair point. A lot can change between now and Election Day.

However your claim that him being a socialist will hurt him with independents isn’t really based on anything.

Everyone already knows he’s a socialist and he consistently polls favorably against Trump, against his Dem competitors and with independents. Are these independents and moderates all of a sudden going to have a revelation that he’s a socialist sometime between now and then?

My biggest concern is people not wanting to take a chance on Bernie if the economy remains strong in terms of GDP growth, unemployment, and the stock market. If it remains as is, Trump will be very hard to beat in 2020. If those numbers dip, Bernie is an easier sell.

My concern is that much of the discussion in the general will be about the capitalism vs. socialism debate along with what you just mentioned. Yes, he uses the word “democratic”, but it’s about perception. I don’t think a lot of Americans know the difference. I suspect it will be harder to explain because he spoke fondly about socialist/communist governments in the past. As a result, I think he’d have a harder time with the socialist smear than someone like Klobuchar or Bloomberg. Obviously those two have their own issues. I just think that’s a weakness for Bernie.
