Because he currently has the most delegates. :what:

He's almost 20 years younger than Kamala for reference. I know some of y'all don't want to hear it but he's still got a long career ahead of him in this party and has time to address his flaws.
He really doesn’t. He is running based on boomers. How exactly does someone like that have a political future unless he completely rebrands? This isn’t someone who gained traction with an growing demographic like Sanders 2016. His base is the old school that will be less important going forward. Pete will never be a presidential contender again outside something crazy happening.
I’m trying to not put anyone else who posts in this thread on ignore but posts like this make it hard.
Fam, people wonder why I keep coming back but it’s honestly just to counter disinformation. I’ve had to put like 7 people on ignore for nonsense. It’s like every 3 weeks there’s a new person supporting Warren saying some dumb shyt who is entirely different from the origins of her movement. Ultimately, I’ve realized that it is people unable to cope with their worldview not being in the majority anymore. They don’t like being seen as the “bad guy” and are rebelling against that with trivial points and bad faith arguments. Say what you want about @Warren Moon and @Atlrocafella but they never wavered in who they are. These other people have no idea what they stand for outside of a handle of self-interested policies - they have no overarching worldview and don’t know how to engage with people who do. It’s been giant 5 year long temper tantrum and we would be better off disengaging.

So 50 years ago he was going at millionaires? Were there any billionaires back then? lol
Still not seeing where charity comes into the equation? He would be a hypocrite if he said he didn't need to pay higher taxes but other millionaires/billionaires should. The changes in law he is requesting would negatively effect his income to. So I think you need to re-read the definition of hypocrite. lol

$1 back then is $6 today so yes, there would have still been tons of billionaires.

he was going at millionaires back then because he wasn't one yet. then became a millionaire and billionaires became the new line lol.

and he was railing against millionaires as recently as 2015 :heh:

Interested in more info on this as maybe I'm one of those people

Aren't the origins of her movement based on fighting big banks after the recession?

He criticizes the rich every chance he speaks. What are you talking about? Yet he himself is rich. That’s a hypocrite. Google the definition. There’s nothing stopping him from giving back his wealth. He could. Easily. And who the fukk is he to say at which point is too much money? And why is it that this amount is around the amount that he has :jbhmm: When he gets to $10 million is his ideology gonna shift to anything above $10 million is too much :mjlol: Just say you wanna raise taxes and call it a day. Railing against the rich when you’re rich yourself is silly and hypocritical. We all wanna make money. It’s human nature.
Sorry y’all, but this motherfukker is so goddamn stupid

I hope y'all not in here defending the two-party system

If you think that's what I meant you missed my point. Of course not, it's a terrible system. And the fact that it's a terrible system is the exact reason why a third party can't win right now. I hope some day it will change, but the number one priority is getting Trump and the Republicans the fukk outta here before we make any kind of sweeping reform. Bernie made the right strategic decision running democratic IMO. If he ran independent, all he would do is get over-scrutinized and lose votes.

I'm not into name calling but. :mjlol:
Despite his personal wealth he is advocating for people of a certain income including himself to pay more in taxes. But good point he did change his rhetoric. I think he is just adjusting for the times not trying to provide cover for himself.

If Liz loses her own damn home state in Super Tuesday, she mise well drop out that same night. I'm thinking one or two candidates may drop out right after Super Tuesday. Steyer is an easy choice. Amy would be a possibility. Sadly that arrogant shyt Pete is going to try to stick it out.
