Bernie gets a plurality, establishment refuses to put him over the top because they hate him and claim they're shook of the "socialist" label, but afraid they can't put Biden/Bloomberg there because the liberal segment would go into full rebellion mode. So Warren is chosen as the compromise candidate.

Unlikely, but it's almost certainly the reason she's still in the race.
Doesn’t seem like that would remotely work. I can’t believe she doesn’t realize that either.

They could be, but the former can't be true if he's unable to secure the nomination outright.

I don't think you need to secure the majority of delegates in the Democratic primaries to be defined as a "revolution". MLK led a revolution too and he never was that level of popularity.

Remember that Noam said that in 2016, and he said openly that he didn't think Bernie would win, the media/establishment would stop him. But look how right he was about the revolution anyway - you can't claim that the rise of AOC/The Squad/Justice Dems and the huge push for progressive issues isn't a kind of revolution. Bernie legit changed politics whether he wins or not. And if he doesn't win, we'll see if that stymies the revolution or just pushes it off in an entirely new directly, perhaps without the Democratic Party.

It's been 160 years since we had a party shift in this country (when the whigs fell apart and the republicans rose up). 110 years ago Teddy Roosevelt formed the Progressive Party and beat out an incumbent president in the election but couldn't win or hold his momentum. 70 years ago the Dixiecrats won four states and then spent a bunch of time flirting with the Democrats again before eventually ending up with the Republicans and completely changing the nature of the two parties.

We're due for another shift.

Jason Johnson got benched for one comment. This guy has a couple and now a sexual harassment claim in like the span of two weeks. White privledge is keeping him in place? :mjpls:
White privilege is always apart of it. But to be fair Chris Matthews is more valuable to MSNBC than Jason Johnson. He has been on air for about two decades. Jason Johnson didn’t even have his own show. Getting rid of Chris Matthews would cost them a lot more money than cutting ties with Jason Johnson. But with that said I wouldn’t be surprised if he get the Bill O’Reilly treatment.
