Move them back to San Diego
I had to double check as I thought it might have been you with the pass rushing evaluations last year, but it was actually @calh45 that said Chase Young would get his GM fired..
injuries robbed the hell out that manjudging a pass rusher's impact by sacks should not be a thing in 2021I still don't believe in him. He all bark and no bite. He plays hard, but 7.5 sacks ain't a whole lot to write home about and he still pass rushes like the tackle is a cone he can just run over. They were speaking about him like he was the second coming of LT and he didn't even get into the top 25 of most sacks in a season by a rookie and wasn't in the top 20 for sacks this season AND didn't even have the most sacks on his team.

nick bosa had 9 sacks in 2019 and was the most dominant player for the 49ers, and was one of the main reasons, if not the biggest reason they came very close to a SB win.
chase young was dominant last year, on a shytty team. their defense went from bottom half of the league to top 5 in both points and yards allowed. this dline is young and scary af.
Sweat is a beast but Chase dominated too...and you can't compare offensive talent to defensive talent, its apples and oranges.Pass rushers are judged off sacks so I used the it as a quick reference, but their defenses ascension had more to do with their division and playing against Andy Dalton, Daniel Jones, and Philly's rotation of terrible QBs. If you want to assign players to their improvement then it is a lot more to do with Montez Sweat and Bostic than him.
Everyone spent his last season in college calling him a generational talent. He didn't live up to that 2nd pick at all or the hype. Patrick Queen was the best defensive rookie last year and it's a fukking shame he was third in defensive rookie of the year plus there were several first round rookies that had more of an impact on their squads than Chase did. Jefferson on Minne, Herbert on SD, Becton on the Jets, and Edwards-Helaire on the Chiefs.
gotdamn the fall offinjuries robbed the hell out that man
atleast he got paid 1st
.One of the more depressing April Fools jokes I’ve heard.gotdamn the fall offinjuries robbed the hell out that man

Queen was not even close to the best defensive rookie last year. He was a liability in coverage his coverage ratings were terrible ask any ravens fan. By the end of the the the season they were almost using him as a 2 down linebacker because of this. Him and brooks were a wash honestly. Winfield was much better along w several other defensive rookiesPass rushers are judged off sacks so I used the it as a quick reference, but their defenses ascension had more to do with their division and playing against Andy Dalton, Daniel Jones, and Philly's rotation of terrible QBs. Been saying this. They should do it at least a few times this year, I'm over the standing Buffalo throwbacksred helmet-white facemask
