- Nas is not only the oldest rapper to win Best Rap Album (47 when he won for KD1) but he extends his record of being the oldest rapper nominated in the field (50)

- Nas is now tied for 3rd (alongside Eminem) of the artists with the most Best Rap Album nominations with 7. Only Kanye West (8) and Jay-Z (11) are ahead of him.
