I know this a big ask, but we should consider shutting down pat for next year, let the pieces cook see who to keep and who to move on from . Find a way to shed some of the bigger contracts and find a way to get way younger and more explosive . I have no problem saying that the current iteration of this team done but we can easily be fine moving forward.

Xavier worthy has been kinda disappointing and up n down this year as has the offense as a whole and our RB room is not playoff caliber

Also we need our future TE since kelce is probably out soon.

Also need more athleticism in the line backing room and On the line for defense.

Matt Nagy as OC gotta go ASAP

Not that big of an ask. He’s a competitor and won’t do it but make him sit his ass down. Next year is a wash anyway. Suck, get high draft pick.

He’s Skyy Moore status to me. Cut ties and get what you can for him. He’s more house cat than Cheetah.

I’m not mad at none of these to be honest but Worthy will get better.

Worthy is way better than Skyy but drafting a 160 lb WR in the 1st round is on Andy. There's not an elite WR with that build but he's fast so Andy wanted him. He's more of a WR3 unless he bulks up. They need to stop having tunnel vision and looking for system fits and go get the best player. Passing on the Jonathan Taylors for CEH is what needs to change.

The defense I'm not worried about. Get some edge help and LB's. They know how develop DB's.

Move on from Nagy, rebuild the O line, let Hollywood walk, replace Kelce, and bring in a big WR who can win 1 on 1.

Edit:
Free agency is really thin at WR. Only big name is Mike Evans but they need to go get him.

Alec Pierce would be a nice depth player or maybe Wan'dale Robinson.

That ain't happening...he'd rather die than leave TB, and they're gonna pay him straight up off the strength of being loyal. None of those other 2 the needle in any way. Find a way to get Stowers or Sadiq at TE in the draft without giving up anything and that'll be a start. Sadiq in particular is considered an ELITE blocker and runs a mid to high 4.6 40 dash.

Nah, they have to make a push to get Evans because he's the only UFA WR1 on the market. He might want out with how bad their season has gone and Baker has been terrible. They lose to Carolina and miss the playoffs and I don't see him spending his final seasons there.

The only WR's who are rumored to be on the trade market are AJ (Eagles aren't helping KC and he's expensive), Olave (concussions had him contemplating retirement/ now has a blood clot in his lung), Brian Thomas Jr (I'd take that trade but will the Jags send him to KC), and Jerry Jeudy (hell no).

You're sleeping on Alex Pierce. He ranks 82nd in receptions but 23rd in yards. He leads the league in yards per catch at 20.3 with Daniel Jones and Rivers throwing to him. In 2024 He had the highest depth of target in 10 seasons. He's 6'3" and only 25 years old. KC needs a legit deep threat who's actually a good receiver. They've been using bums like MVS and Thornton for that role and they're not guys who get a have snap count or target. Pierce leads the Colts in snaps. If you don't think they can land Evans he has to be the the next player they go for. Every team looking for a WR is going to have him high on the list so KC has to get to him early before other AFC team like Buffalo or the Texans do.

A rookie WR is not going to get it done. We know Andy brings them along slowly so just get vets and don't draft one. They need a veteran who can step right in. I'd prefer Evans but Pierce would give them a guy who can be a long term solution since he's on the last year of his rookie deal. Signing either allows them to draft a TE.

Pacheco and Hunt can go. Draft an RB and sign Breece Hall, Travis Etienne, or Rico Dowdle.

Mike Evans would be a GREAT get, but like others said he might be too loyal to leave TB.. Alec Pierce is an interesting prospect that I didn't think of

As far as RB, Breece, Travis or Rico would all be welcomed compared to our room this year lol I think Hunt is going to come back for short yard situations (3rd/4th and short/pass protection) with Brassard Smith rounding out the room

Not sleeping. He's just not worth what his asking price is gonna be (starting at $20-22M per). All that for 82nd in receptions and 4 TDs. Easy pass. Plus, we're limited by what we can spend this year, compared to teams like the Raiders, Titans, Chargers, and Jets, all of which have $100M to blow this off-season, and three of those will have new QBs who they're gonna need weapons for.

Mahomes restructures and they're under the cap. Kelce retiring and cutting Jawaan Taylor frees up 31 million. I'm sure they're going to make even more moves to free up salary.

There's no good WR's in the bargain bin. Either they stick with what they have and hope a guy like Royals develops, bring back Thornton, or they address it in the draft. Edge has to be the first pick. They only have 5 picks so WR isn't likely to be one them.

What they could do is draft an RB and sign a vet for cheap. The Cowboys paid Javonte 3 million and got 1200 yards out of him. A move like that would free up money for a WR.

Maybe Reek comes back for cheap on a 1 year deal after Miami cuts him. I don't see an easy low cost solution at WR:yeshrug:

I personally think the WR room is fine. I think the big problem was the playcalling. The biggest issue with playcalling is that it requires too much out of the OL. When the OL was healthy the offense was looking amazing. Especially that five week period where they put up 28+ a game. The offense fell apart once the injuries to the OL piled up and the playcalling didn't seem to adjust to not having as good of a line. I think a WR room of Rice, Worthy, Juju, and Thorton plus however Royals develops will be plenty.

I'd rather any money being spent be on getting an actual playmaker on the DL that can make teams pay for doubling Chris Jones. Karlaftis is solid but not consistent enough of a game changer. The team needs to be able to generate pressure up front without having to blitz.

This isn't a great OL draft. It's heavy on defense.

They just need guys to stay healthy and sign some cost friendly vets.

They just drafted Norman-Lott and Gilotte last year. They have to get some production out of them in year 2.

Right now KC has the 9th pick. It's going to come down to who they can get in free agency and who falls to them. Their first pick could be DE, CB, TE, or RB. Might as well go best player available. I wouldn't be surprised if they took Love from Notre Dame if the top 3 or 4 defensive players are gone.

I hope Bailey from Texas Tech is the first pick but if he's gone maybe trade down a few spots.
