They used to do the same to Boise and Utah and both of them beat Power 5 schools in bowl games. Then they tried it with UCF, same thing. Then they tried it with TCU and TCU beat Michigan in the playoffs.

It's really not. If you aren't giving them a chance then they shouldn't be in division 1 and you shouldn't be scheduling them.
