Ken Paxton vs Cornyn is a dog shyt runoff but these dudes been dropping WWE promo style political ads so that should be fun. However the idea of Paxton rising to the Senate after being exposed as a cheater, criminal, jackass?! Yuck.

Watching my parents, especially my mom, get brain zapped by MSNOW has been wild. It took awhile for me to realize it but they are entertained by this shyt. Like they literally will prepare dinner to coincide with Maddow or whoever's show starting. They quote hosts and politicians. They laugh. My mom can't discuss any political issue without laughing - including mass deportations. It's an entertaining game and she likes telling people about it. She sounds utterly insane when she speaks to people who don't watch this shyt. She can't concentrate on anything that isn't MSNOW or hyper violent - specifically fantasy, action, or revenge shows/movies. And all the shows/movies with grim dark tones and villains remind her of "what's going on now." IE any conversation with her on any topic is gonna eventually lead to politics/Trump.
She told me a couple days ago she saw an Indian guy at Sam's Club who "looks like Kash Patel." So she ran up on him and said hey you look like PATEL. The guy was confused and she explained "Trump's FBI director." She said the guy was like oh that's not me, and she told him to vote blue. He said yes I vote blue.
This was funny to her, a game. She constantly runs up on brown/Hispanic/etc people to talk to them about ICE or politics. I've warned her this is a bad, weirdly invasive and one day someone is gonna tell her to get the fukk out their face. The behavior kinda matches the "in your face" approach of Crockett (who she loves) and other dems who go on MSNOW to perform.

While I agree there's also a large segment of older people watching Fox/MSNOW who act like this. There are a lot of articles about older parents being radicalized by Fox for instance. My mom has a looot of friends in their 60s who also watch MSNOW daily for hours and act weird. Not as weird as my mom but still.
