Actually you're right, Hillary did start it. Specifically against Obama. And it was a god awful strategy yet people keep utilizing it.

Gotta love the consultant class recycling old, bad ideas to candidates to

1) Continually lose races while stuffing their pockets
2) Continue asking the base for money while undermining their demands
3) Save face with their conservative friends and family

Weird? Stop that. It makes people feel bad.
Prosecute the case? Stop that. It makes people think you’re going arrest Trump.
Taxing the rich? But that’s us!

“You know what we focused on with Hillary?”

I think Talarico really had a chance to flip that senate seat and Republicans are petrified. My entire threads feed is don't vote in November, Crockett was robbed, Fetterman vibes, mediocre, no one knew he was. And when you press them on examples you get do your own research, google it, I don't have to justify myself, vibes. The bots are out in full effect and are really aggressive with it. Don't let them fool you or persuade you.

I don’t think it’s all bots. Lots of large Black content creators are upset.

But I don’t think it’ll matter that much in the fall. By then, the bitter primary will be well in the past and folks who voted for Jasmine will support Talarico.

Only thing we will see is if Talarico strategy of “reaching out and winning over MAGA” will succeed.

Every Dem who has tried that has failed. But we shall see if doing it with a white, male, Christian is the key.

Yes at the the end of the day black people especially women will do what they always do, the right thing. But they definitely have a right to vent and belittling them and their right to do so unironically only gives further credence to their feelings of needing to vent. This election will be on whether maga whites and Latinos still are caught in the cult.

Black women are the most loyal and reliable Dem voting group. Maybe that's gonna change one day, but I strongly doubt that it will occur during a Trump presidency.

But we gotta vent too. They are not the only black people out there. Lots of people where you live wouldn't vote someone like Jasmine tbf (hell some of them post here!) but I agree black women are important, just not the only thing.

But if black people stay home, they will just replace them with hispanic and we will have nothing, are you ready for that? Because no one wants that.

Yeah she moved badly and should have never ran. Whoever consulted her hopefully took the money and ran. She could have stayed in congress and continued to rise just doing what she already does.

Who do you mean by we just for clarification? People that didn’t vote for Jasmine? There’s nothing to vent about if your guy won and just put his name on the national dem radar

Then the people calling Jasmine ghetto unqualified trash and the million people that voted for her the same should start respecting them or at minimum stop provoking them because they aren’t winning anything in Texas without black people. They are just lucky for their own self preservation black people will have to vote on their side in November

I’m looking at it through a different lens. We are told you can’t have x job because you don’t have x qualifications and now within less than two years two people who have those qualifications have been told they aren’t good enough to have x job against people with inferior resumes. To the people that look like them, support them and have similar life experiences I can understand why that would be triggering at minimum. Now they’ll have the rest of the year to hear from white people about how the person they voted for sucked (with more colorful and sometimes coded language) and to get on code and vote for the white guy. A million people voted for her. You can feel however you want about her but obviously she was moving the needle for somebody.

The problem is viewing this through a lens of qualification in the first place. I'm not hiring someone to be my lawyer, or do corporate taxes. I'm hiring someone to represent me in government. The most important things are character, judgement....and their stances on issues. Crockett's stances on issues are entirely tied to the most generic "don't rock the boat" democrat positions imaginable. She votes exactly how they want. She peddles their talking points. She supports their leadership. Why would I want that over someone who thinks for himself, has better positions and supports more things I support? Those are the only "qualifications" I care about.

This is why I think the qualification thing is a trap. Because it incentivizes braindead career or academic advancement that's completely divorced from competency, character, thought process, intellect, etc. I deal with this at work all the time. Looking at resumes from people who have all the academic qualifications but can't do the fukking job because they keep going back to school instead of getting experience. Your degree doesn't tell me how smart you are. Trump went to a great school. I want to know how you think and what's important to you. And I think the type of people who gravitate to Hillary, Kamala, and Crockett tend to be girl boss sycophants who think they should be handed jobs because they went to class.

All that is understood. I’m just saying we know good and well if their resumes were flipped, all those meaningless credentials would be used as reasons why talarico was the superior candidate. And that’s not even mentioning the time spent in Washington and connections there Jasmine already had to add on her resume. 1 million people think Jasmine did support things they supported

I’m just telling you black women are mad, it’s their right to be and telling them they aré stupid for being mad is a bad idea hence why talarico is in damage control mode because he knows he needs them lol

If people can't see this is a clear psyop then I dunno what to tell you. It's the same voter suppression tactics they always trot out. And once again this is why identity politics need to die. This shyt was designed to foster resentment and now it's being aimed at you. A black woman ran a shytty campaign and lost. That's it. Making this an "us vs them" thing is laughable. But when you buy into this line of politics you think a white man should bow out of a contest against a black woman because of oppression or privilege or whatever buzzword. This shyt is poison.
