The problem is viewing this through a lens of qualification in the first place. I'm not hiring someone to be my lawyer, or do corporate taxes. I'm hiring someone to represent me in government. The most important things are character, judgement....and their stances on issues. Crockett's stances on issues are entirely tied to the most generic "don't rock the boat" democrat positions imaginable. She votes exactly how they want. She peddles their talking points. She supports their leadership. Why would I want that over someone who thinks for himself, has better positions and supports more things I support? Those are the only "qualifications" I care about.
This is why I think the qualification thing is a trap. Because it incentivizes braindead career or academic advancement that's completely divorced from competency, character, thought process, intellect, etc. I deal with this at work all the time. Looking at resumes from people who have all the academic qualifications but can't do the fukking job because they keep going back to school instead of getting experience. Your degree doesn't tell me how smart you are. Trump went to a great school. I want to know how you think and what's important to you. And I think the type of people who gravitate to Hillary, Kamala, and Crockett tend to be girl boss sycophants who think they should be handed jobs because they went to class.
I don't disagree with you entirely, but Jasmine Crockett is not in the same class as Kamala Harris or Hilary Clinton. Say what you will about the latter two, but they are at least serious people.
I was not a fan of Kamala's, but I did not have to hold my nose to vote for her, especially over the alternative. I would definitely have had to hold my nose to vote for Jasmine Crockett.
