From what I'm seeing turnout was driven up by the primary race. Most people that voted for Crockett are going to vote for Talarico. The question will be can Talarico bring over the extra voters that came out for Jasmine that generally sit elections out.

Additional and very apt question to ask is will Talarico sustain his high Latino vote share once he moves to the general.

There would be similar questions if Jasmine won.

Some people are definitely going to feel one way or another about this outcome. Some people may indeed want to sit out. I don't know the numbers but whatever percentage it is Talarico is going to need a lot of it to have a chance.

We're not going to have a real come to Jesus moment until the Black voter share for Democrats drops to like 60% or something. Because there is clearly a divide that needs to be addressed. But i feel we as a people are not as keen to protest vote.
