Naw bruh. The seats at those other events may be expensive but at least people are in the seats. The seats are supposed to be expensive due to high demand. High prices and low demand makes no sense at all.

This shyt right here, this was bad. The NBA completely fumbled this whole thing.

First the NBA All Star weekend should never be the weekend directly following the Super Bowl. There is overlap with the money there and a lot of people/companies aren’t dropping that coin back to back.

Second you gotta work something out where your shyt isn’t airing at 2pm local time. That alone makes it come across as an afterthought. It can’t be All Star Saturday Night and people are leaving the event and it’s not even dinner time yet.
I completely disagree. The game used to be in the afternoon on NBC and CBS and it was STILL must see TV. The product has turned people off...the prices have only exacerbated the situation.

Either fix the actual product or change the format/cancel the game.

Been telling y'all for years LA ain't the best place for this, but @Jplaya2023 can't watch all-star weekend on his TV if it's in a smaller market one year God forbid
My problem has 2 do with when the ASG is. During pretty much winter. So you have to be in warmer climates to have a great time. Dallas in 2011 was the exception. Remember the year it was in toronto and it was -10?? It was an unmitigated disaster 4 sure

I was there.

It was cold.

But it's one of the best all-star weekends I've ever attended.

Can’t remember if it was Reddit or IG but someone posted a video of Rosenberg complaining about how NBA ASW isn’t a go to event anymore. The typical mf’s was in the comments was talking about he old and this and that and the athletes are more athletic and skilled (no clue wtf that has to do with all star weekend but whatever).

I remember taking leave from Germany specifically to go to the one in the A in ‘03. shyt was crazy. The Vegas ASW was legendary. I went to the one in 2010 in Dallas and although it was kinda wack cause of the weather, it was still a meetup event. I know DC nikkas who still talk about ASW. Just looked it up but how many times are they gonna have this shyt in LA?

Dog that 07 Vegas ASW was a movie...:ohlawd::whew:

All of LA was on the 15 freeway that weekend & California damn near took over Las Vegas
