The biggest issue is getting a good interest rate. Mortgages everywhere are basically a life sentence unless you're a house flipper.

Yeah, I bet a lot of men convert their garages to a man cave. Makes sense to me! I just prefer my garage to be attached to my house.
A neighbor of mine converted his to a new room. He doesn't even use his real living room to watch TV, etc.
