Gotcha. The first time I was on Jackson St. campus pulling up and I saw it was on Lynch St. My initiation reaction why is there a HCBU on Lynch Street in Mississippi
I ended up doing some research back then and found out it was named after a former slave. There's also the Abolitionist John Lynch that the name Lynchburg or in some places Lynch Street come from ironically.
