My Iptv cable service has a 24/7 Family Matters channel and we’ve been watching it for about month straight now in our house. It’s actually a really good show and has been a nice break from all the craziness that this year has been imposing upon all of us. I wish the article in the op didn’t focus on urkel so much because it seems like there’s actually a lot more depth to it than I had ever given it credit for. All the white characters were always written as either bumbling idiots, obnoxious, or the villains and it actually did try to tackle a lot of social issues. It’s not as corny as I remember it being, though its softness did make the more serious episodes have much less impact to them. Jaleel White had an amazing range as an actor and him and Reginald Val Johnson really played well off each other.
