I watched this show for about three or four seasons, although I loved all the black tv shows this one was pretty corny. It's amazing to see their are no positive black shows on. The black image was more positive. All by design though.

Compare if you are old enough the black tv shows in the 80's and 90's vs the 2000's and 2010's . Pretty sure you'll see the shows were more positive back then vs now

Oh yeah, I feel you about the number of shows in comparison, but you said "none". I'm just sayin'. "K.C. Undercover" is pretty much a 21st century TGIF show. It would've fit right in with Urkel and Step by Step back in the day and it's a positive example of a strong functional Black family,

Show was unbelievably corny, but I still have a soft spot for it. TGIF as a youngin was just :wow: Boy Meets World, Family Matters, Step by Step and Hanging With Mr. Cooper :wow:

Anyway, most slept on character was Weasel. Dude had the GOAT pickup line

Like I said, for all y'all who liked "Family Matters", check out "K.C. Undercover" on Disney. It's the best Black family show other than "Blackish" on TV by a long shot.

So many random things I remember from that show..

Myra was married to Theo Huxtable in real life.

The character who played the DJ for the roof party for the Urkel Dance was Harvey Garvey. A few characters had rhyming names like Waldo Faldo and Myrtle Urkel, another instance of Jaleel White crossdressing.

I even remember that cheer from Laura's cheer squad.

Do ya, do ya, clap clap clap, do ya, do ya..?

...and Maxine getting the gun flashed on her was probably one of the realest moments I'd seen on network TV at that point of my life. I was straight :merchant: at that.

:patrice: No, I don't think so....
