Possible, but that's gonna take a lot of work.

And why 165?

I went from 263 to about 213. That actually want that hard. But I was stuck there for while, so I just started hitting weights hard.

Got to about 220 and was actually smaller than I was at 213.

I fukking got complacent tho...

The reason you plateaued is because your body got used to the reduction in calories and reduced your metabolism as a result.

To keep losing fat you need to constantly stress your body out. Prolonged fasting does that really well. This is why I keep championing it in this thread because every other weight loss method will give results similar to yours.

It's definitely possible but it will take you two years of consistency and discipline.

Gotta go old school with the workout breh. Not those "Lose weight by standing still :krs:" scams.
-Run (not the treadmill)
-Jump Rope (10 sets of 100) per day
-Cut out sugary drinks and carbs (noodles, bread)
-Only eat dinner
-Drink water
-Raw vegetables if you can. Add those to your dinner

165lbs? I'm assuming you're under 6' tall?

It absolutely is, but you have to be firm and consistent.

Drop all those other drinks but water (coffee and tea are acceptable); start cooking a minimum of two meals a day and clean up your entire diet. Dessert? Once a week.
Get a workout shcedule plan; start with cardio and calisthenics; push-ups, sit-ups, squats, dips, pull-ups and get to walking, jogging, and running.

You have to be dedicated.

How is it hard to lose weight and work a 9 to 5? Just eat less food than you burn. How does your work schedule affect that?

Daily caloric restriction is actually the worst thing you can do if you want to lose weight. All that will happen if you restrict daily calories is you'll lose a lot of weight early on but then your body will adapt to the reduction in calories by reducing your metabolism and then you'll plateau. Then after plateauing you will lose confidence in the diet and go back to your usual eating habits and gain all that weight right back. This is the cycle of failure that happens to people when they try to diet.

Prolonged fasting is the only way to lose lots of fat quickly without plateauing. When your body is deprived of calories for 36-48 hours something amazing happens. Your body goes into ketosis. Which is just a fancy way of saying your body switches from using the food you eat for energy to the stored fat it has been saving for years because of your overeating for energy. When your body enters ketosis you stop feeling hungry because your body is getting all the calories it needs to operate from your stored fat.

I'm right now in the midst of a 72+ hour fast and I feel great. I just came back from the gym and did an intense workout. I don't feel hungry at all and its been 3 days since I ate my last meal. The reason I don't feel hungry is because my body is in ketosis and is getting all the energy it needs from my stored fat reserves.
I read the first paragraph and realized why nobody dapped this. You don’t know what you’re talking about so please refrain from giving advice. Calories in vs. calories out - that’s all you need to know and that’s all that matters OP.

It’s amazing how many people don’t understand weight loss/gain. Now I get the fatassery in this country. Talking about slowed metabolism and all sorts of nonsense.

No. He could lose all that weight in 6 months with an aggressive prolonged fasting regime.

1 meal every 7 days until that gets hard. Then go to 1 meal every 3-4 days. Sprinkle in daily exercise and a diet of natural foods and he'll easily lose all that weight in 6 months.
