This is DEEP. And it’s another form of creating familiarity barriers. It’s difficult for heterosexual men to enter spaces bc academia and corporate is dominated by women

I contracted at a spot in NY few years back. I’m somewhat IT based so I’m in my own lil silo. But they added a breh to this other team. Not IT related. He’s a PHD but was surrounded by a team of artsy fartsy young PHD chicks. Ended up clashing, he couldn’t speak their ‘lingo’. They transferred him and had him doing shyt he’s WAY overqualified for.

That’s for a breh with a phd. So imagine what’s going on in those hiring rooms for regular jobs, especially now without DEI
These is an excellent post.
This has been the playbook for dismantling the black family/community for centuries. Just more sophisticated nuanced implementation than house/field negro tropes.

Office workers basically
Im not even trying to be funny or crude...
but when you follow the money you see why black folks vote Democrat.
Its only because the gov is who employs us.

Were wasting our talent and continue to be dependent on the government.
Youre never free when thats the case.

Black folks have to learn sometimes you have to move around. Other people do it all the time. Staying in one country and just seeing how one country operates is not giving you a broader view. You gotta use some of what you earn to go learn the world. A lot of opportunity outside of the country for black people.

If I was weller educated, I could have gotten a cushy job in South east Africa through my ex.

But this was only possible because I’m not close minded and look at unfamiliar black folk as “others”.

trump supporters are going to avoid this thread

would love to hear the spin on your mothers, partners, daughters, extended female members of your family, and female friends being unable to find work and support their families

Nah, they're justifying it on some "oh their jobs were useless and they deserved to be laid off" bullshyt.

Anything to avoid criticism of Trump :manny:

ive said it time and time again...
black folks are too dependent on government work.

were over represented in government jobs.

and of course DEI jobs would be decreased once they arent required...thats common sense.
companies are trimming the fat...getting rid of roles that arent needed.

these type of articles are made to upset and blame "racism" when the problem is bigger than that.

none of yall are thinking about the type of jobs that are cut...
they are generally positions that arent needed.
Besides all this, a lot of them were working remotely and mfs in the office wasn't seeing their face for weeks.
If people aint familiar with you then you're expendable. I be warning BW about them BS remote jobs. Stay your ass in the building, tryna cheap out on gas money.

Martin Luther King and the like caused irreversible damage to the black community…the white peope let us integrate as long as they stayed in power and got the majority of the pie..we integrated into their society where they always had control, we never really had any say so, so when the white man wanted to pull the plug and reverse shyt they was always capable. He was right he integrated us into a burning house..we was only tenants and could get “evicted” at any time. You see that now and it’s nothing we can do, then same liberals couldn’t stop it, they was too busy worrying about the white man posing as trans rights (most teens issues comes from sick white men) and illegals… they always and control and now we seeing what happens when they “put us back in our place).
They even attacking beards and the such in military, while some of yall ignorant, the military was the easiest way to being middle class for a black person and now they zooming in on that…

Malcom X and people like him way was better for us it turned out, all the progress that was made is getting rolled back slowly but surely,.the civil rights era was a busy.
This is seriously one of the dumbest things I have ever read on here. This is the kind of pseudo-revolutionary garbage that only sounds deep to stupid people. Martin Luther King didn't "damage" the Black community -- white supremacists institutions did. What we're seeing now isn't proof he failed; it's proof that the system never gave up trying to claw back power.

You are always on here with these awful arguments that excuse these racist systems, from your claim that systemic police racism being a myth*, and now this. The problem wasn't integration, it was that the system never stopped waging war on Black people. That's not King's fault. That's America's ongoing commitment to white domination, and people like *you*, who are too busy blaming trans folks and immigrants instead of the actual architects of oppression, are helping that domination stay alive.

And don't bring up Malcolm like he'd cosign your ignorance.

This is not true. We've just seen the major impact of weather service staffing cuts in the Texas flood disaster and how little help they've received afterwards from the govt because of FEMA workforce cuts.

Consumer financial protection bureau to help the average citizen from getting done wrong by corporations. Completely eroded any consumer protections

Getting rid of thousands of people who worked on vaccines and research of various diseases. We are not built to handle another pandemic at this rate.

This idea that none of these positions were needed anyway is foolish.

This is a lie. Not only have the cuts not been implemented yet, but the Texas weather service and NOAA both had extra staffing in place over 72 hours before the emergency.

I can tell from a mile way when someone is speaking confidently on something they know nothing about

1- ‘Too reliant on government jobs’ is like saying people are too reliant on military, or SSI. Like as opposed doing what?? The shyt been working for decades and has built black wealth, tf are you talking about. No one in their right mind would have seen this coming

They used to send out police blotter type monthly emails at this one agency. I’ve seen folk catch DUI, beat their wife, impersonate an officer, assault charge…..suspended 10 days. It used to be virtually impossible to lose a government job. So swooping in on some ‘see, I told y’all’ is just silly

2- With that said, your post has its place :ehh:Bc it’s important we see just how ignorant the avg person is :snoop:Y’all really been conned into thinking it’s all waste and excess. To the point you’re doing their bidding cheering this on and ignoring that it’s a Trojan horse to usher in all sorts of shyt that WILL affect you and millions of other black folk. Brilliant
