For example, the Church was A hub for Ferguson protesters, where as Amnesty International simply observed for a day or two and left. Are you really going to compare the efficacy of both of those two and say the impact is similar?

As I stated, the Church no longer is THE center for things like learning, literacy, commissioning art, etc but that does not delegitimize its utility, which is what the argument is about.
You're being straight up dishonest but I can't pretend I expected anything different. On realizing that you couldn't back up your original claim you've tried to switch up the argument. This is what you said,
many people use it as a means to scrap any responsibility to their communities and eschew social norms. Many take on nihilistic approaches to life and this world and shun any form of altruism.
You made specific claims about the way in which atheists live their lives. I asked for evidence of this and you've done nothing but prevaricate.

People in the developed world are often even more dependent on institutions and social constructs :why:
"Beholden to" does not relate to dependence. They have greater means by which to hold them accountable.

Surely you realize social science studies are not legitimate measures of how people actually act in the real world?
Observations about how people act in social situations are not valid social observations? Interesting.

There is a different between saying YES you will help the disabled on a piece of paper and actually doing the work involved. You should be able to point to examples to substantiate your data, correct?
Dude you are the worst bad faith arguer I've ever encountered. Read the links, these aren't survey's. I'm not going to hold your hand. Either you're genuinely curious about this and you'll read at least the abstracts or you're just arguing to argue.

Do you understand nuance? How many of these are as effective as the Church in any given thing? How many people have these organizations mobilized? Instead of copy and pasting a list can you break down numbers for me so we can look at this objectively?
Do you understand nuance? These organisations aren't trying to do the same thing so what kind of objective conclusion can you come to?

And most of these organizations deal with poverty outreach, where are the orgs dealing with the arts, music, community events and town halls :wtf:

Are you going to argue that me donating 10 dollars to any of these charities that will probably be siphoned off by a crook is as effective as physically doing community work through the church :wtf:
Stop playing dumb you know there are plenty of such charities. You can physically do community work without going through the church as many people already do. Your argument was that atheists are less likely to do so and so far you've provided no evidence to back that up. In short, you are full of shyt.

The none religious people are always talking about religion:mjlol:

We get it, you don't believe in God :mjlol:

Atheists are always the most negative and miserable people you meet too. I say Live and let live I don't know why people are always trying to prove or discredit, it's really none of anybody else's concern other than your own :yeshrug:

@Greenstrings I have no desire to argue semantics, hollow social science studies and your mere opinions, and since you do not want to provide any real world data when I know these charities provide them then we can agree to disagree.

The main reason I fell back from it was that I realized it's nearly impossible (and flat out impossible in my personal case) to live a completely proactive lifestyle if you think a man in the sky is going to help you out when shyt gets real. I grew tired of asking "Why me?" When terrible things continued to happen in my life. And now I take things for what they are and work on solutions. You'll always live a reactive lifestyle as long as you believe in God. I just get things done, and whatever mishaps occur along the way, I chalk it up to just my life taking its course :manny:

That's how it's supposed to be. You are GOD. You pretty much make your own way. There are always obstacles. It's not a test from the fake God that cacs instill to people. It's called life. You have to deal with it and push on.

Most black are atheist because they found out that slavery played the biggest factor in blacks being Christian. Fact is they don't know enough about other religions to see there and say god doesn't exist.

:salute:Emphatically. I too learned this ledge-knowing from that Wu Tang song. Let me drop some gems and jew-L's for the people.

Cesare Borgia was an Italian politician born in 1498. His CAC ass looked like this:

:heh:CACs.

Now here's the oldest icon of Jesus from Egypt. It's from the 6th century and it's in an Egyptian monastery.

Straight hair, light skin, CAC nose, CAC-like facial hair, and it was painted hundreds of years before Cesare Bor.......:lupe:

:lupe:

:whoa:Hold on, brehs. Hold on. Wu Tang wouldn't spit nonsense.

:whoa:You see, the Borgias obviously had a time machine. Yeah. A time machine. They went back in time almost a thousand years and made an Egyptian Christian paint this Jesus.

:whoa:Don't research Wu Tang lyrics to find out of they're true.

:whoa:Don't research early Christianity.

:ufdup:Just donate to Dr. Umar and don't ask any questions.

As hard as you devils try, you can NEVER change the TRUTH.

Early image of Jesus Christ from the Coptic Museum in Cairo Egypt.

Now let's compare this picture with the fire-CRACKA you posted and compare how the Bible describes Jesus as looking.

Revelation 1:13-14

13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

But let's not stop there. Another description from the book of Daniel:

Daniel 10:5-6

5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Your devil (whose face and neck are extremely lighter than his fukking hands) loses in all instances. Oh and BTW...
