I don't know, I think this applies to all immigrants in terms of their perceptions of black Americans...negativity is all they are exposed to, it isn't just Indians. This chick I know said last time she was in India some dude asked her why so many black people in America are fakkits....I mean, where they getting that from? Who's feeding them that?

I don't know what "acting white"or "acting better" means here. Indians are either fresh off the boat, somewhere in the middle, or members of the elite professional class. The latter group will seem to "act white," because the professional world is largely made up of whites. Indians aren't like East Asians though, they still cling to their traditional cultures no matter what....in that sense they do anything but "act white." If these people are being condescending, it isn't just towards black people, it's in a general sense, and that includes towards other Indians. I agree that immigrants in general should be better educated on the plight of black Americans, but at the end of the day everybody gotta do for self. That's just the harsh reality.
Well I think part of the problem here is that Indians aren't culturally close to anyone, even other Asians. People in the west been clowning Indian women for years for the red dots and shyt like that, have they stopped wearing them? Nope. If most Indians were Christian like other immigrants, they'd be looked upon more favorably by both blacks and whites, but that isn't the case. People can say Indians worship whites but Indians (for the most part) worship Indian gods, they don't worship arab, jewish, or white gods like the rest of this world so I really don't get where that comes from.
I think you took some of what I wrote, and turned into something else.
1- I wrote it is most foreigners, as far as the condescending ways. In my post in the previous page, I went into that.
2-Thats most of the people dissing. Only a few seem to have a real dislike.
3-I explained what acting white or acting better means in the same paragraph, I don't know why you mentioned where they work at(this is my issue with you). There a lot of whites who don't work in corporate jobs, and still think they are better then blacks. Have you ever seen a white person look in awe, when you live better then them, or at least on par with them? I have, and you can see they are confused. In fact, I saw one last week when he came to my house to fix something. He was looking around, looked at me, and then went back to looking. shyt was fuunnnyy
4-I wrote in the post, Dominicans are dissed heavy on here, and they are more close to us culturally, so your theory is wrong. Mexicans are another group who are more close to us, but still get clowned. Its just people dissing what's different, AND they have negative experiences with them, so that helps fuel the dissing. I guarantee you if an Indian had the same culture as their homeland, stressed education, but was cool like Supercat(relaxed, and not worried) we wouldn't hear these disses. It's the awkwardness (from fear of being a victim), and the not mingling with others that is causing the dislikes, not because they are doing well. That's another way of acting white or acting better, most whites tend to stay to themselves, and awkward, because they are scared of being victims of crime.

Whites well I never really was cool with. I mean in school you always had the typical white boy who dress black,act black, played ball at the park and dated only black women. So i never had problems with them. I cant stand the guido whites from staten island. The hipster whites are weird. Irish whites always looked dirty and smelled funny. Russians are weird as fukk as well. I dont really chilled with white folks like that. Never will anyway.
