Zambia. Indians there would literally only talk to white Afrikaner immigrants or keep to themselves if they weren't screaming at nikkas, and GLARED at you (not just stared) if you looked there way. I glared right back with burning intensity since they were in the motherland and my people's land (I'm half Malawian and Zambia is to Malawi what Austria is to Germany plus I have a loooot of fam there). We were staying at this Indian owned hotel (Taj Pamodsi) which is actually an Indian chain spread globally, and this manager dude was just shouting at his black employees in front of patrons like they were dogs , and some Indian couple was screaming at black employees at an electronics store in one of the larger shopping malls in Lusaka demanding better deals with this palpable audacity I've never seen anywhere else and we asked some midget Indian nikka who was walking through a textile marketplace like he was a God among infidels for some directions and he just stared at us like we asked for his credit card number or something. Unwarranted hostility and arrogance abounded, and yet they have zero claim to this continent whatsoever. Not to sound racist, but my mother warned me about these "African" Indians, and I didn't quite believe it til I saw it myself (it was way worse back in her days growing up in colonial Rhodesia though). I ended up acting a little hostile to this friendly Muslim Desi clerk at a pharmacy in the same mall as a kneejerk reaction having seen all that bullshyt, which made me feel bad later as she was genuinely very sweet and didn't pull any of that "superiority" shyt.

I have nothing against westernized Indians or Indian nationals as a whole, but these "African" Indians are the biggest fakkits I've ever met in my life on God, worse than the cacs there and I'm dead serious (I'm a Zimbabwean and I'm saying this).

It made shyt awkward for me because on the one hand these African dudes are spending mad money with me but on the other hand the AA breh's are my peoples.

I had to tell one regular customer from the Ivory Coast to stop calling my man "homeboy" because he didn't like it. This dude tells me "why do I have to call him by his name, I'm doing business with you, not him"

so this arrogant shyt can go both ways.

I don't disagree, but Africa is a massive and diverse continent not a country (India is a huge, diverse and populous subcontinent, but notice I made sure to draw the distinction between Indian nationals and multi-generational 'African' Indians). I've closely observed my own fresh off the boat Malawian immigrant family members in the midwest, and thank God they're not on that "akata" bullshyt a lot (but perhaps not most) African immigrants are on, they're very religious people that attend black American churches and go to AA community functions. I know what you mean, a lot of Africans (no offense to anyone, but it's particularly the West Africans and Habeshas) are a$$holes, but frankly it's not at all relevant to my experience in Africa, miss me with that . I'm not at all trying to shyt on Indians, I'm answering ofc77's question.
I don't want to sound like a cac here, and I know it's an old/tired trope they use , but honestly some of my best friends are Desi (Indian, Bangledesh); it's not racial, it's just that they're the buffer class white colonialists created in Southern and Eastern Africa to further subjugate black people. The absolutely fukked up racial politics of colonial Africa under Britain gassed them up to astronomical levels, and they haven't calmed down since then.
