When you settle a lawsuit it's usually filled with clauses like not being able to talk about the settlement and the most important for this topic, not being able to go back to the position that allowed you to create the lawsuit in the first place. If you think that the NFL would shell out money for denying him work then turn around and give him a job somewhere so he could file another lawsuit for another issue then you're being naive.
