The trigger happy black person is a symptom of the underlying cause of lack of self-accountability within his or her own community and consistent culture shift in terms of values that the community has chosen to be comfortable with which is violence, instant gratification, false sense of what masculinity is and materialism. All these things are American but as a community at the bottom of the totem pole you cannot embrace these values because the results are devastating and we are seeing this.

The thing that gives e hope is that culture is fluid and things can change in terms of culture within a short time 10-20 years. I was watching a document on Reconstruction post Civil War on PBS somehow popped out on my algorithm. Decided to give it watch. You had literal former enslaved people IN THE LATE 19TH CENTURY literally getting educated trying to keep links and restore links with families and running for office in the DEEP SOUTH (South Carolina, Mississippi). It is not by accident that a lot of the civil rights fight in the 1960s was brought toward desegregation of schools whether it be Brown v. Board or Meredith v. University of Mississippi. The blackest thing you could do was to get an education and uplift your own through that medium.

Fast forward 2020, ppl are even making excuse for single parent households, shootings where Black children are victims and all the bad things that comes from it.

The irony is, back in the day West Coast gangsters would give a rival a pass if he was with his family. With his mama, he gets a pass. With his kids, he gets a pass. Everytime black people try to mobilize and get shyt together. The government literally CREATES LAWS to stop the shyt.
