And that's the actual problem you have. Because plenty of people are on the ground doing the work and working with the people. It's just not publicized. They don't televise every march or rally or drive against black on black crime.
Now if you wonder why, think about what you just said in this thread.
It's not a large enough nor effective movement though. There needs to be a collective response across the nation. A large scale awakening. At this point it's mostly sticking a finger in leaky holes of a dam. You can point out this rally and that community response but it's not enough. The other problem is that its largely reactive instead of proactive. Its defense and not offense. Its going to be the same 100 years from now unless something major happens. You look at the 60s and 70s and there was an attempt at a national consciousness before those leaders were either killed or imprisoned. At the least there was a large sense of self pride back then. It is much the opposite today. The way too many Black men and women view one another, the way too many young Black men view one another. There's a sickness amongst us. There needs to be large scale reset.
