A lot of those affected by the violence come from Caribbean families in BK where the young men and sons are either the victims or perpetrators of violent crimes (I am assuming you are from NYC and you know how heavy the Caribbean demographic in BK) and last time I checked Caribbeans were immigrants too so therefore everything I have been saying in this thread is applicable to them as well I never made a distinction in any of my posts what kind of Black people I was referring to but that my sole concern was for young Black men and women to lose their lives like it's nothing.

A dude in the BX recently who got killed was Nigerian so it's not about the argument you are trying to make Immigrant Blacks vs. Non-immigrant Blacks. Stop running to that argument anytime your view on things is challenged. The shyt is getting old on this board.

I’m not running to anything. And I didn’t say immigrants weren’t perpetrating or involved or effected by these crimes. NOR did I say that BK isn’t riddled with Caribbean’s. What I AM saying is that shyt is far more complicated than u or even the Caribbean’s that are involved and effected by this shyt understand. If u didn’t come from somewhere else and u had family rooted in this shyt u would understand the dynamics better. THATs what I’m saying to u. I’m not on that ADOS vs all other blacks wave but what I WILL say is the hood doesn’t look the way it does for no reason and there is a lot of shyt set in place for it to stay that way for us and if they want change in a place. They will gentrify the fukk out of it and move the black people somewhere else. Which is what has been happening in NYC since 9/11 and it’s another reason why the crime in the city dropped significantly. They made it that way by the constant surveillance of neighborhoods they want control of. And yes. We do need to take more responsibility for how our youth act and what they do in these streets. But this is not an overnight thing. And civilians are not responsible for controlling crime in an area. shyt just doesn’t work like that. shyt is a complicated issue. And it was designed to be this way.
