lmao nihilists don't exist and anyone who thinks they're a nihilist is a fukking moron. Ask them to commit that if they're so certain that everything is meaningless and watch how quickly they cave.

Haven't gone through all of the posts in this thread, but I think you're looking at nihilism in the wrong light. There is no "pure" example or even definition of nihilism and nobody should be expected to be the poster boy for that imaginative view you have on people who embrace it. Nihilism can and should have subjective applications, hence applied with different sets of importance (or lack thereof) placed upon values (or lack thereof) that will vary by individual. So to have the viewpoint that everything is meaningless to a nihilist is to not have the right perspective on it in the first place. Just because someone discards basic morals as defined by the society in which they dwell, doesn't mean they should commit that.

Pleasure, which is probably neurological/physiological at its core, but I never claimed to be a hardline nihilist. I'd be dead if that were the case.

But I do acknowledge the sheer indifference of the universe unto itself.

So you are a nihilist who regrets past actions because they did not bring you the optimum amount of pleasure? :ohhh:

Sounds like you are deriving some level of purpose from pleasure. Especially if its something that you would be willing to back and change... while claiming to live a virtually meaningless life. :jbhmm:

Even I wouldn't go back and change my past actions for something as fleeting as pleasure, and I'm the furthest thing from a nihilist :pachaha:

what are you saying?

You asked what "good" or "bad" was

We could REALLY go there, but I'm under the impression you're a religious person who thinks they exist to serve some deity.

And if we're being honest, I know more about "life"...in the mechanistic and biological sense, than you do...so if we're talking about real shyt, let me know.
