If you go for a cheap option (non-OLED), you're taking an L somewhere (HDMI 2.1 function, picture quality, reliability)

no monitors offer 4k 120
they only offer 1440p/120 because there are no monitors that have hdmi 2.1
If your your current library and future library doesn't have 4k/120 games, then you don't need hdmi 2.1

breh there's no such thing as 4K 120 on a PS5 lol, not even an RTX 3090 pushes those kind of frames and definitely not with the sort of raytracing effects that people will expect on next gen titles.
