WSJ just released an article showing how household incomes will drop by an average of $6500 with Biden in Office... Keep desperately trying to assume people who arent rich wont take financial L's with Biden office.
An average?

I haven’t read the article, but always be weary when someone uses an average. Extreme highs or lows skew the numbers. Considering the extreme wealth gap, I’d imagine that’s probably the case here.

Thats not how tax brackets work my dude. You are making the mistake 50 and a lot of cacs make with taxes.... Republicans plant those lies and people that dont know better fall for it.

If you have a tax rate of 62% above 400k and (for example) a tax rate of 0% below 400k.....

Then if you earn 400,001 a year, you get taxed at 62% ONLY ON THE 1 DOLLAR THAT WAS ABOVE 400K. Not the entire 400k... So you would take home 400k and 38 cents....

It does NOT mean that your 400k in earnings would shrink to 152,000....

This misunderstanding is how they trick people into voting against taxing the rich. They tell you that "Hey you make 400k... if they raise the tax bracket above 400k to 62% then you will get a 62% paycut because you make 400,001."

But thats a lie. Thats not how taxes work. But because people think they do.... They vote against taxing the wealthy; meanwhile Amazon/Google/Apple make Trillions and pay shyt for taxes because low income people keep voting to keep it that way.

The big issue here, is I don't believe 50 is even making this mistake. I think that just like a Republican, he knows better; but he knows his AUDIENCE DOESNT! So he is intentionally manipulating them for his own benefit.

dude has been a millionaire for over 15 years, he absolutely knows what he's doing. :pacspit:

we do this with every president. higher or lower taxes blah blah, there are pro's and con's to both really depends on your economic status
Higher taxes usually means lower paycheck but more benefits to communities (ie less potholes in the streets, more money for medicare, and less income inequality due to the fact that trickle down economics doesn't actually work.)

Lower Taxes means a bigger paycheck. More revenue to invest and grow your wealth. but in turn more of the countries wealth gets funneled out of the community and into the pockets of the top 2%

Bruh, throw your tax math out the window.

you don't get taxed 62% of the first $400k...

brehs it’s starting to piss me off, how people confidently pass around false information. And when they do they make it obvious they do not know what they are talking about and parroting points they’ve heard before.

and this tax shyt is the biggest example we got going on right now, folks throwing out fake facts and not giving a fukk how wrong their “facts” are.

He been shown everyone how he moves, he's the only one in his "crew'' that's still in the spotlight. This is who he was a long time ago, he even supported George Bush but people rather be entertained and dumbed down. Stay sleep.
