More of a game manager than anything. He dinked and dunked the ball to Novacek and Johnston 12 times in his game against Green Bay and was super conservative against the 49ers (attempting only 18 passes) and again in the Super Bowl. Good. But not exactly HOF-worthy.

His only real performance (255 yards against Green Bay) came in a game where Emmitt Smith rant he ball 35 times for 150 yards and 3 TD. The other 2 games he was a game manager. That Super Bowl against Pittsburgh he went 15-23 for 209 yards.
And this is just the 3 seasons he won the Super Bowl in.
The rest of his career is worse.
If you want to judge Troy's entire career based on 3 years, you're a fool.

Maybe your definition of what qualifies as Hall of Fame-worthy is different from mine.
But at no point in his career was he even close to being the best QB in the league. Brett Favre, John Elway, Steve Young, and Dan Marino would have done the same or better than Aikman did with those Cowboys teams.
