It came from those inside AEW so I'd say it's true. It was obvious they were building Mercedes/Athena for a while and likely that they'd take Toni/Mariah all the way to 'ALL IN'

But I think it worked out for the better. When it became clear that Mariah wasn't re-signing TK said "then let's go with the biggest match possible" and Toni and Mercedes is that match

I don't know what the fukk they are doing with most of the women on the roster anymore. Two of the past three consecutive special episodes and only one women's match on them

Yeah it would have been good but I've always been someone who thinks you shouldn't "save" matches forever so I'm good with them doing Mercedes/Toni now. Can't wait forever Mercedes already been in the company over a year

So now SRS is contradicting Meltzer saying TK always wanted it to be Mercedes vs. Toni Storm at 'ALL IN' and that while Mercedes has been open to losing to whoever, they hadn't decided on who yet. Funny when SRS and Meltzer fight it out

Maybe a multi tag match for the titles, Christian said he's coming for them with Nick during Collision and JetSpeed have been starting to feud with the Hurt Syndicate too.
