I would have signed up for it if AEW wasn’t on Max since I got rid of YouTube TV late last year. I just went with pirate streams for a couple weeks until AEW popped up on Max

What if the can’t compete for the title for a year stip is added in there to make them two be competing for the Unified title since AEW apparently wants it to be considered on the same level as the World title?

That’s two of your franchise talents and two of the most over wrestlers on the roster along with Omega/Okada involved with it within its first year. It’s hard to get bigger than that.

I think it hurts the World Title. Both Swerve and Ospreay are too big to keep away from the main price -which in character, both of them want- for such a long time, imo.

One of the issues Hangman had his first title reign was that they had nothing for him after beating Omega. They had to turn Danielson to put him over and then used Cole because he was very popular, and then he lost the belt to Punk. This time around they kinda have MJF, they could use Bobby Lashley and that's about it. Forcibly keeping two huge potential matchups like Page vs Ospreay II and Page vs Swerve is kinda dumb, imo.

The Unified title is already elevated by Okada/Omega fighting for it, if Ospreay or Swerve end up fighting for it during this year that's cool but forcing it makes no sense to me. You just handicap the booking for no good reason. What if people start getting hurt again and you either can't use Os/Swerve because of a dumb stipulation, or you are forced to throw the stipulation to the bushes anyway because you need them for the main belt sooner than expected?

But who goes after Page? I know Christian can turn into the devil and make a run. NO ONE WANTS JERICHO. Cope, does the crowd want him back? Would he want to go heel? Does Darby come back and we do face v face? I know MJF can do it, but then you kind of waste the big world title feud between the biggest home grown guys. Especially because no one would want Page to lose immediately.

Since AEW is not entirely put off by the face vs. face concept, though I admit it is hard to pull off...
