These dudes are coming up with all kinds of scenarios to try to explain why we should be more tolerable of this behavior. "Well maybe he lives at his mama's house and his car got repo'd so he pawned his tvs to get money. Now having no entertainment, he goes to a block party and decides to shoot it up. Y'all suburban blacks wouldn't understand though."

that's bullshyt, title loans require a car title and they base the amount they will loan on the condition of your car, of course newer cars are eligible for a higher loan amount but people getting these loans are only looking for a few hundred dollars to cover an unexpected expense in an emergency.

People legit came in here asking why this thread was even made because stuff like this happens all the time. To me, that sounds like you (not you specifically, not sure if you were the one saying this) built some kind of tolerance to this type of activity and accept it as everyday life. That's a problem.

Why do we continue to kill each other? I feel that using our economic standing as an excuse is a complete cop out. I hate that excuse just as much as the one about subjects in school being culturally biased.

I think energy is being wasted on trying to attack white supremacy rather than curing black inferiority...

They are two sides of the same coin but it's really the only side we have any kind of control over. Racist whites could grow a heart all of a sudden like the Grinch tomorrow and they still wouldn't have the means to fix "us" as we are now.

This isn't to say ignore things like Ferguson or this recent event but it's time to come to a realization that just as much as snapping out of the conditioning of white supremacy is "their" responsibility, snapping out of the conditioning of black inferiority is ours.

We really need more guides and healers, particularly of the mind in the hood to break down the black inferiority complex. I don't think writing off "ignorant c00ns" and punishing them harshly is going to cut it.
