So what many of you seem to be suggesting is the only "real" black experiences to be had are by those on the lower end of the spectrum economically. Interesting, so how bad did I have to have it growing up as to not be a "suburban c00n"

There's def a large divide in the black community between "suburban" blacks and "hood" blacks. Maybe its like this in other cultures im sure, but it seems like its out in the open more in the black community. Both sides look down on each other. Seems like being educated, well-spoken and versed in topics outside of your normal "hood shyt" makes you a "suburban c00n" if you're black. Ignorance is HIGHLY celebrated. First thing, IMO is to stop waiting for "we" to do anything.

It's not to say be an individual to spite your 'race' but we will never, ever be able to find any one train of thought or direction to move in as a group. People like look at these things and ask "what can we do", as in the black populace at large as if you could get anything resembling a uniformed response. It's hard enough to get organized and even if you manage to do so, it usually puts a target on whatever organization or leaders back in the process. It would be much harder to stop influential individuals all over the country than would be to stop a centralized group. And if we are going to "get together" or organize it should be structured, covert and have a size limit.

You don't gotta save the world, shyt you really don't have to do anything at all...but if certain actions or events move you in that way, assess your skills, your passions and find a way to be of service, preferably with a business of some sort so you can support yourself with it while you help support others. Fortify yourself, make yourself formidable and be influential. People will learn more watching how you move than listening to you and another million muthafukkas talk.

This isn't to say ignore things like Ferguson or this recent event but it's time to come to a realization that just as much as snapping out of the conditioning of white supremacy is "their" responsibility, snapping out of the conditioning of black inferiority is ours.

We really need more guides and healers, particularly of the mind in the hood to break down the black inferiority complex. I don't think writing off "ignorant c00ns" and punishing them harshly is going to cut it.

In order for change to happen, our mindset towards ourselves will have to change 1st. We must WANT a change. We need a resurgence in Black Love and Black Pride. We need to be reintroduced to our own history. Right now self-hate is at an all-time high. We fear and distrust ourselves. We look down upon ourselves. We dont want to help each other. We are the only group that at the thought of living amongst themselves. Every other group seeks to live amongst their own. Not us. We feel more comfortable living amongst "others". We are the only group on earth that makes music glorifying its own genocide. Im going to be called all kinds of "c00n" for this post but im used to it by now. Im just holding up the mirror. Im not here to make friends. Im here to tell the truth. In order for a massive change to happen, there is going to have to be a huge number of people willing to die for the black cause. No change has ever occurred without sacrifice. Remember that. We, on a mass level are going to have to get to a point mentally where we are willing and ready to lay down our lives for change.
