So what many of you seem to be suggesting is the only "real" black experiences to be had are by those on the lower end of the spectrum economically. Interesting, so how bad did I have to have it growing up as to not be a "suburban c00n"

i was talking to that same girl on the phone one day about going out to eat(raised by cacs, but i cant deny shes fine
). i ask her about hitting up a soul food joint and she says "What's Soul food?" I'm just like 
"...Black people food." she responds "There's no such thing as black people food!". i was fukking blown 
i educated that painted Cac tho
this is why there's such a disconnect, Black people who have never had to live in these types of circumstances are too dismissive of what's really going on, "it's ignorance", "they know right from wrong" and whatever else they can think of from their high horses.
Just two weeks ago I had to sit a 15 year old down and explain to him why kicking in doors is wrong, that shyt was so frustrating that I wanted to cry because in spite of me making valid points about why it's wrong, when he needs money and his homies proposition him to go kick a door, he's going to do it.

I'd like to imagine If more young black men came into the doors of the church, they would learn of many positive activities to engage in. And not just a chore that one does ever Sunday.

Okay and? She admitted to being scared. People are scared/cautious of people they don't know. Even "goons".this black girl who was my coworker at my old job, who was adopted and raised by white people, said that when she and the others first saw me( i had a bald fade and i guess i acted "ghetto"), everyone was scared of me. i dont even really know wtf that means to this day
that's not what's being suggested, all Black experiences are real, but just like a suburbanite would be out of touch with Kanye's Black experience, they are also out of touch with people living in abject poverty, it's ignorance in a sense of not knowing, and many of these suburban Blacks have no desire to find out because it's much easier to just dismiss it as "ignorance"
