3 million soldiers couldn’t takeover america
And What about vs trained Americans because
In this improbable situation wouldn’t Americans be trained if they knew Chinese were coming
The fact that you defending this so hard is hilarious :mjlol:

The average American can’t even run 3 miles comfortably , don’t know how to use a gun and won’t work together in a emergency like this. Half of us don’t even like America enough to be patriotic myself included

I’m talking about a doomsday scenario where China says fukk it and sends in the troops . We would lose and it’s not even a question .

The difference from past generations is that at least the individual was healthier/tougher physically/mentally (able to withstand more)

The government can’t really reverse the trend parents and people in general will need to recreate it. This is the new norm for first world places. Of course the warrior class won’t be warriors as more and more are removed away from warrior culture. And not just anyone can be trained to be a warrior. That warrior class is a sub class it’s self within military service. We can’t even get the majority of people whom should be qualified to join in the door because of the new genesis health system.

Basically all of these youth issues that used to be able to be hidden/concealed are now no longer able to be hidden.
Can u prove past generations were healthier, stronger, tougher physically and mentally
Cause I hear that a lot but I don’t think that’s true

I’m just being realistic and pragmatic, China couldn’t take over America if they sent everybody they had over here
Y’all got to be careful with propaganda

funny, I just read none of the major branches are expecting to hit their recruiting numbers due to ppl not being fit and not considering it as an option.

if I knew what I knew now, I would’ve definitely considered it. You can finesse some lifetime benefits if you know the game.

There's really no reason to join the military these days....it's not just about weight cause even those of fit and in shape aren't too interested either.

Back when our elders lived through periods of Wars (WWI, WW2, Vietnam, Korean, Cold War, etc etc) joining the military was like a “no, ifs, ands or buts” situation that seemed mandatory being an American considering the circumstances in how the world was back then.

As decades went by things have changed and focusing on battling countries has been established as being pointless for the most part.

America already has a war complex but the problem is that the average citizen (since the early 70s) isn't interested in that shyt anymore.

just have to take a passing glance at something like rising childhood obesity, rising suicide rates among young men, etc

regarding the fitness stuff in particular: Childhood and Adolescent Obesity in the United States: A Public Health Concern.

". In the past 3 decades, the prevalence of childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and tripled in adolescents.1 The latest data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey show that the prevalence of obesity among US children and adolescents was 18.5% in 2015-2016."

im sure others would echo the same sentiments

I think the obesity is explainable, people didn’t have access to food back in the day like kids do now, folks could barley afford meat back in the day and right now we can get a burger for a dollar, but I don’t think obesity makes people less capable just have to work harder

C:\
Yet the U.S. military faces increasing difficulty finding enough quality recruits to meet its already slimmed-down goals. According to the Pentagon, 71 percent of Americans age 17 to 24 are ineligible to join the military, primarily because they are too overweight or too poorly educated, or they have a record of serious crime or drug abuse.

When they legalize marijuana at the federal level boiii :skip: Nobody going to be able to pass a drug test. :mjlol:
