Wiggins could be the next Wesley Johnson and Noel could never fully recover from the knee injuries like Oden.

this is what you clowns don't understand. you can't turn piss into wine. building a contender requires patience, hard work, and luck.

the Philly tank job is an attempt a quick fix for what is a hard job. you can't turn a team that won less than 20 games into a title contender in 2 years based on 2 draft classes. OKC was like a once in a lifetime aberration and even they didn't do an intentional tank job. they got lucky in 07 with KD, were terrible with Russ, and finally got better after getting Harden.

So what's your alternative to building a contender? Y'know, if you're so averse to using the cheapest, most efficient way of finding talent in the NBA.

No big time free agent is going to sign with them anytime soon with all these young player. Philly might have a nice future but they going suck for a few seasons. Hell, some of them young core pieces might become assets for trade and Philly will repeat this vicious cycle again in 2 years.

Ppl think everybody can do what OKC did. Ain't no durant, Westbrook, or even harden in this thread. There might be a Jeff Green in within but green was the first playr moved outta OKC.
so what? they were going to be bad anyway. Might as well be bad with options and be able to do something when an opportunity presents itself. I rather be bad like them than bad like the knicks

MCW is far from being legit. Dude is putting up numbers on a fast paced lottery team that plays no defense in one of the worst draft classless in history so lets not gas that nikka up to be some future all star.

Man answer my damn question... You will give 10 mill to Turner and 8 to spencer breh

For fukk's sake read the damn post again. You're thinking this process takes 2 years; the ownership is committed to this takin longer than that.

Exactly breh your franchise is basically telling players/fans were gonna be bad for the next 3-5 years and it's okay to lose by 30 points every night. You don't build a winning franchise with a losing philosophy just ask Cleveland how that's working out for them. Just look at what Phoenix is doing they refused to tank and hired a coach who actually knows how to coach and bring out the best in his players.

:russ: At these hating ass fans because they teams are stuck being mediocre.

In Hinkie we Trust

:what: I'm a Lakers fan that has lived through 5 championship parades in 14 seasons. I have no reason to be jealous of a team whose biggest accomplishment in the last 25 years is getting 1 win from the 2001 Lakers.

The Lakers are in way better position than you. We're also in the running for a high lottery pick not because we intentionally are trying to lose but because we got hit with the injury bug (ala the 97 Spurs). We already have a proven superstar in place, a load of cap space, and this high first round pick. Unlike your cap space, our cap space has value cause actual superstars wanna play here. The Lakers could end up getting Melo this year, Love next year, have a top 5 pick, and Kobe's contract coming off the book in 2016 to sign another superstar.

Now that is whats called being in a GREAT rebuilding position. Not the lets trade everyone for second round picks and hope we can hit on em.

Kent Bazemore and Marshon Brooks suck. Bazemore's most important contribution in the NBA is waving a towel, and there are nikkas on the Coli that play better defense than Marshon Brooks. PLus 36 year old Kobe coming off knee surgery has clogged up the cap for LA for the next 3 seasons. The Lakers are a clusterfukk. Anybody who thinks the Lakers have a brighter future than the Sixers doesn't deserve to talk about basketball with people.

Again nobody is saying you had to pay them that much. Give them your best offer and if they don't like it trade them for other players not 2nd round draft picks that will probably be busts.

Nothing wrong with what their doing. I don t know if theres any 'franchise' players in this draft. But its a deep draft with some all stars in it. As long as he hits on a few and finish it off with a free agent signing down the line. Sixers will be good

Phoenix have the Lakers' pick, plus they have a lot of cap room and cheap young talent like the Morris twins. They don't have to tank.

Who is going to trade players for restricted FAs that you refuse to pay? Use some damn common sense man.

Rebuilding through free agency has worked for only 1 team in the last 10 years, just 1.

Capspace is only good for rounding out your roster, not outright rebuilding :smh:

Lmao so I guess that means no which why we traded their asses man god damn. Why let them walk free get a trade filler 2 rd pick. These teams especially Miami etc... Not using no first round pick to be over luxury tax. So they trading for 2nds.

So far we 2 for 2 breh. MCW rookie of the year and Noel's gained 15 pounds and have a 15 footer now and all we did was get rid of a turnover prone inconsistent PG in Jrue Holiday who is schedule to make over 10 million next year lmao wooooooooooo

:laff: what? MCW is ROY in what may be the weakest rookie class ever. He's only shooting 40% from the field, 28% from 3, and 70% from the line. I'm not saying he won't be good. I actually like him. But he is AT BEST a decent starter in the league not a potential superstar. Noel has yet to play a game and you talking bout weight gain. :laff:

If the rest of your lotto picks are more guys along the lines of MCW and Noel, that ain't nothing to write home about. This ain't no KD, Russ, and Harden. Not even close.

BTW the real best player of this class looks like it'll be the Greek Freak. The guy ya'll passed on TWICE. That should give you pause in thinking your GM is some super draft genius.

The Lakers are a clusterfukk dogg. Sorry to tell you and Kobe stans this, but the Lakers aren't doing shyt for the next three years as long as a 35 year old Kobe coming off knee surgery is getting 25 mill a year. There's no way to turn that roster into a contender with that albatross on the books.

99.9% of people thought the suns roster was lottery bound before the season so stop tryna pretend like you knew they had something. They could of easily told Horn to stop coaching and tank like Philly has done but they didn't. When you instill a losing culture it doesn't go away overnight and thats whats gonna happen to Philly there gonna be so bad for so long that it becomes acceptable.
