How do you climb a cage with people on the other side of it in front of you and some with weapons?

Couldn’t the guys on the other side just kick the cage to imbalance your side? Or if they have them kendo sticks? just stab through while you attempt to climb?

Maybe they could’ve gotten up…. but I don’t know
