I don't measure Carson performance by how he illustrate his points, this is not a rhetoric contest like those leftist debates, or at least it shouldn't be. I measure his performance on the substance of his claims, and I agree with the points he made about political correct wars, liberal ideology/ilinsky model, and his banter(kek). I'm not sure on his tax plan though, but I agree with right's logic behind the need to decrease Gov't power, so I have faith that Ben's goal in office would be to do just that.

It's a bit deeper than that. The Conservatives view that issue as a problem created by Gov't subsides. In any kind of economic transaction, it doesn't makes sense to charge prices so high that very few people can afford to pay them. But, with the government ready to step in and help whenever tuition is "unaffordable," what incentives is their to change.

But instead of wanting to enact legislation that would keep college education from being so expensive Republicans just want to do away with student loans and basically say "fukk you" to people who want to get a degree.

I honestly think Trump's being funded by liberal comedians (Maher, Stewart, Stern, probably Ron Howard fits in there somewhere) and whatever was left over from that Colbert super pac from a few years ago. He stood on that stage last night and made an argument for single-payer healthcare, gave some disinterested answer to the abortion question and obviously had no real ideas on what he would actually do as president. Meanwhile the audience loved him and polls say he won just because he said he wasn't politically correct and gives no fukks.

Trump is exactly what America deserves for giving crazy a$$holes a place at the table and some false equivalency bullshyt "other side of the story" rationalization for why their crazy a$$hole opinions should be given the same consideration as everyone else's actual opinions. Fox is reaping what they've sowed and it's hilarious to watch.

They're not just doing things for the fukk of it. Decreasing gov't subsidies on loans and having colleges work more like a "normal market" is a viable solution in their eyes. Their logic is this -- college tuition is high because Gov't is artificially meeting the demand at said price by providing subsidies/loans, which removes any incentive for the market to lower prices, naturally. You remove/lower the subsidies than competing colleges have an incentive to lower prices because consumers will not be able to pay at the current price that colleges charge, and lowering prices would attract business away from competitors which would increase profits.
