I think the Knicks pull this out but the fact that this all in roster is still a tier below the Cavs and Celtics
We’re good enough to have swept this Detroit team but this isn’t an all in roster. We knew coming into the season this team would need a free agency cycle or two to really complete it.

What are the “moves” in a free agent cycle or two to complete it?

The two best players on the team are also at their peaks. It’s not like Brunson and KAT are 22 year old kids.

They can move Mitch and/or McBride. They have a tax payer MLE and a Precious S&T. Which might be why they don’t play Precious cause if he gets injured they are fukked on that. Also there isn’t a lot of money in FA this year, so while the Knicks don’t got a lot in general it’s actually not half bad because this FA is going to be low on cash and opportunities.

I think they need a PF and a more reliable bench piece.

The argument would be they don’t need a big move, they need to get guys who can fit the roster. Right now the Knicks are basically playing 5 guys only. Maybe 6 since Mitch is getting minutes.

Assuming they don’t replace Thibs (thought they should) you got to have a 7-8 man roster and they got to find at least 2 more, maybe 3 guys who can contribute.

We could get Durant, but I don't think they will nor do I think it's necessary.

The Knicks issue isn't really the big players, it's the supporting cast. I feel our best 5 is as good as it gets. The issue the Knicks run into is we just are not nowhere near as deep as the real contenders. The Knicks need to improve their depth more than they need to make some big splash and acquire another star. We need to elevate 6-9 on our roster. That's what's gonna put us with the Cavs and Celtics.

Durant ain’t getting them close to Boston lol. Durant 4 years younger got bottled up by a worse Boston team.

Their best player is not as good as the C’s best player it’s not just depth. Same thing with OKC.

They need a “big” move to get past Boston. Theres problem is they made their big moves already. Traded for OG, KAT, Bridges. It’s just not good enough.

Random bench guys ain’t changing this. Leon went all in and this is his team.

Their best player doesn't have to be good as Boston's best player imo. Their secondary players have to improve. Boston just has more depth.

Milwauke's best player is 5x better than the Pacers best player and they lost in 5 because they don't have enough around him.

Tatum is arguably a top 5 player but the reason the Celtics win is because they have crazy depth. If it was just Tatum and Brown, they'd be good but they wouldn't be real contenders. It's the whole team.

We also need a better coach.

If Stewart was healthy you're definitely not good enough to sweep Detroit....you're barely good enough to beat them at all at 100%. And going by the score, that goes both ways with the games as they've been played.

My guy, you sound delusional with this one. What gives you the idea that they should sweep this team? Nothing during the regular season or any of these games really supports that idea. I know a bunch of y'all keep talking about all the better players the Knicks got and yada yada, but just loading a team up with better players doesn't automatically make them a better team. Cohesiveness, team chemistry, fukking heart, all that shyt matters.

And then there's the other side of the court that most people ignore when talking about team makeup. Pistons been a top 5 defensive team since January. What they lack in offensive talent is countered with some dog ass defense to make it a tough night for damn near any team. The sum is always greater than it's parts with good home grown and developed teams. And I'm not saying y'all not good enough to win the series, but a sweep? C'mon dog, that just shows you don't realize the type of team you facing. That was never in the cards. And who da fukk am I kidding, I AM saying y'all not good enough to win the series, PISTONS IN 7 KNICKAS:martin:
