95' Magic are one of the best teams to never win the title. People always say the Kings in 02' or the 00' Blazers but Orlando would wash those teams

Bron would be too fatigued from guarding Penny?

Well if we're just gonna make up ridiculous things then I'll say Shaq would dominate so much he'd get fatigued too from putting up so many easy layups. :stopitslime:

Nick Anderson get hot? This is the 95 Magic right? :heh:

Meanwhile I still haven't even gotten a bad answer for who's gonna guard Bron. :russ:

Why doesn't Bron guard pg's like Parker from the start and only in certain moments usually at the end of the game? Cuz chasing around a point guard all game would wear him out. Penny aint quick as fast as those types but he would be a handful for Bron. No one would be able to guard Bron but we also though Diaw couldn't contain him even for a short period like he did. Just play good D and let Shaq roam in the paint and dare Bron to beat you with his jumper cuz that's the only way you can really stop him. So if you saying cuz it's the 95 Magic you are taking Nick in his form after he choked and not the player he was before them, then that means the Heat would have a Wade with bad knees. So if that's the case im even more comfortable in saying the Magic would win.

That 95 Magic team is my all time fav and I'm a Penny stan...

But they getting their asses kicked against Miami. No bench, terrible on the road, Penny was still physically light and would have been swamped against bigger bodies like Bron or even Wade or Battier. They had perimeter threats like 3-D, Nick, Royal and Penny but so do Miami and the defesne probably gets quicker to them

They wouldnt really need an answer for Shaq and he would bully Birdman, Bosh and them but if you shut down the help, they live with that.

One of my faves too. Also a Penny stan. That's why their flaws are so obvious to me. You're spot on, they had no bench whatsoever and they weren't half the defensive team Miami is.

Shaq would definitely get his but he always got his. Didn't mean they always won.

And when you say 95 Magic that means the Nick Anderson who couldn't make 1 out of 4 to win game 1 against Houston.

Plus they would be too young. Period.

This is when Penny was going hard

And Shaq wasn't stopped in that Bulls series..his team was. LOL. Nyggas be making it seem like he was coming up short on some Nowiniski type shyt. Nah..he went buck wild but his team didn't keep up. You don't do that against a Jordan team.

LOL word? Penny was going hard? LeBron just won back to back MVP's, I think he was going a little harder...pause

And your 2nd point is what we been saying, let Shaq get his and shut down everybody else.
That's a weak statement..they "never won shyt". The NBA of today and the NBA of that timeframe was different..LeBron would of never won any titles when it mattered either with Jordan around. Would of been dealt with in 5 games or a swept every time. Hakeem only has titles because Jordan left after his father got killed. He's not even a real champion...he has his titles because one man was mentally in a different place in his life. The Heat of 2013 would have no answer for Shaq of 95. Not at all. They didn't have to win shyt back then..this team is softer than the 95 team who had to deal with two of the greatest championship teams of all time. Shaq would murder the Heat...Penny would be open because of the Shaq double teams..there would be a lot of dishing out from Shaq during the double teams for open players like Anderson.

More than likely, it would be a 20pt blow outs every game and MAYBE it doesn't go past 5 games.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Do the Heat even win a game?

Horace Grant and Shaq on the interior, flanked by a couple of shooters with hot hands(Dennis Scott, Nick Anderson) on the perimeter? Pre injury Penny at point?:mjpls:

The 95 Celtics won a game against them, and the Pacers took them to 7. That team didn't play even a hint of defense, and were one of the worst teams in the league at defending the 3 point line, which is why the Rockets tap danced all over them. The Heat made more 3s this year at a higher percentage than the Rockets did with a shortened line.

Shaq would murder the Heat frontline without question, but they couldn't defend shyt and gave up a ton of easy looks with a 22 foot line, you think they'd be able to defend better with the 3 line out at 23"9....

Are you saying guarding Penny Hardaway would be like guarding Tony Parker? :patrice:

Shaq in the paint on defense isn't that scary, breh. Besides, if we use your "fatigue who we wanna fatigue just to aid our argument" logic, Shaq would be too tired from all those dunks and layups to do anything on defense. I'm sure going 30 for 30 from the field takes its toll. And that doesn't even count all the fouls he's gonna take and FT attempts.

Your whole nonchalant attitude is what's so funny though. "Just play good D". Oh really? That's all you have to do? I'll take it a step further... why bother to play good D when you can "just" force LeBron left? :mjpls:

You keep forgetting about the guy who would be the best player on the floor and blowing him off by saying "just play good D" is laughable at best.

Good team defense will take a team a long way. If you think a 6'8 270 pound man can guard a point guard all game and still have his A game on the offensive end that's on you. Shaq has never been a top notch defender but that is because he wasn't dedicated on that end. But even still in his prime Shaq rarely got challenged in the paint and rarely got dunked on. Cats wasn't trying to go up in there and have a car wreck against that big body. And didn't I clarify that Penny wasn't the same type of point as a Parker or Rose. But he still was a point guard and picking them up at halfcourt for 48 minutes and still wanting to dominate offense usually doesn't happen.

You a little nygga...barely can youtube this shyt up and you talking about LeBron's MVPs? WTF that has to do with him being the one that is gonna be able to get off against the Orlando Magic? LOL.

And Hakeem wouldn't be who he is if not for Jordan retiring. He's like a paper champion.

95 Shaq was not in his prime. Let's remember that Shaq got his first ring in 2000, 5 years later.

Guarding Penny would be like guarding a 6'-7" player. Very different from trying to stay in front of a smaller, lightning quick TP. Your argument holds no water because the element that would tire LeBron out like you're saying, Penny didn't have.

Miami is much better on D, way more experienced, they would have the best player and home court (66-16 vs 57-25).

I used to love that Magic team but you guys are overrating them something awful in this thread.

:what:

So explain how they went 7 with Indiana who is a much worse team than the 95 magic and cause less mismatches than that magic squad

Grant>>>>>west
Shaq>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>hibbert
Penny>>>>>>Paul George
Nick Anderson>>>>Stephenson
Dennis Scott>>>>>>>>>George hill

Play shaq straight up trying to shut down the help and he would average over 60 points a game

This is how we know you know nothing about basketball. The Indiana Pacers have nothing to do with the 95 Magic. Different team, different matchups, different coaches, different philosophies.

Yet you think it's as simple as "this player >>> that player" and "this team took them to this many games." Prepubescent thinking.

In 96 the Knicks lost to the Bulls in 5 games while this same Magic team we're discussing got swept. So it's obvious the 96 Knicks > the 96 Magic right? :rudy:

This year's Warriors >>> the Grizzlies because the Spurs swept the Grizzlies and needed 6 games to beat GS, right?

Why are we even discussing the 95 Magic who weren't even better than the 95 Jazz, the 95 Suns and the 95 Spurs who all at least got a game from the Rockets?

What stupid, stupid logic. :snoop:

This is your mod? :why:

But you say the Magic couldn't win because Jordan held it down, but what about 94-95? Why couldn't they win then? The Magic couldn't win a game against the "paper champions" but they are gonna own the Heat?

The Pacers played defense at an elite level though, that Magic team was terrible defensively, they allowed teams to shoot 38% from the 3 point line. The Heat shot 39% with a longer line, if the Magic could get spread out like that with a 22 foot line, the 23"9 line would be the end of them.

You could put the Nets against the Pacers and you'll come out with 3 positions the Nets have the edge, yet the Pacers are the better team off their defense.

They were better than everyone except the Jordan team. Shaq's team wasn't complete enough for the Rockets. The Heat would of got nearly swept in both those situations. Yes...against the Paper Champions. The Spurs too.
