Yeah man. I like knowing what I put my hard earned money into. It cost me waaaaay less doing something I love and gaining experience than buying some cheap ass luxury shyt that nikkas will have repoed cuz they can't keep up with the payments:mjcry::mjlol:

Late night on the build. It's coming along great and the pieces are coming together with only a few small hiccups along the way. I'd probably be done if I could work on it everyday and wouldl be further along but thats not a bad thing though. I'm getting some good experience and learning alot about engine building. The last time I did this was when I was 10 or 11 with my late grand pa back in the day but I don't remember shyt and all I did was hand him tools:lolbron:

Got the head bolts torqued two more times to get a good press on the head gaskets. Started inserting the hydraulic roller lifters and brackets

Next install the push rods and roller rocker heads and studs.

Another long ass work week, two crazy baby mamas to deal with and just a lil time to work on Ghost.

This week we had to degree the cam. This is to make sure the engine is timed correctly. If you don't get this shyt right and start your car your engine will be fukked:sadcam:

This shyt was cool to learn how to do. A lil math work but nothing to hard

Bunch of shyt came in from Summit racing. Got one more order from a guy in Texas parting out his LT1 Firebird coming by next week. Then it's just finishing the build on Halloween weekend working two days straight and getting fukked up in the process. The plan is to fire that bytch up........hopefully:to:

So no start up this weekend. Turns out the intake gaskets don't fit properly and it's a special GM made water pump coupler that has to be special ordered as well:mjcry:

So I got the engine pretty much assembled with the exception of a couple of little shyt slowing down progress. But when building a engine you tend to run into stuff like this so I'm not sweating it. I'm just ready to get this shyt done:sadcam:

Got a whole weekend to work on the car coming up. Hopefully some good progress is made and I can get the motor mounted on the k member at least. Got a shipment of parts I needed to complete the block all the way from summit racing.

This little ass piece of metal below was $57 from a GM dealership. It's been discontinued and I couldn't find it anywhere online where I could get it before Friday so I had to drive 59 miles to get it.
