What is so appealing about white women? Are they “easier”? Are they nicer? Are they more willing to “work with you” and try to understand you? Do they do things that Black, Asian, Hispanic, or other women for that matter, can’t or won’t do?

I think I know the answer. I think the appeal is a deeply-rooted psychological issue that manifested about 400 years ago. When Black men were hung, beaten, or worse for simply looking at white women, something became embedded in their psyche that says “sleeping with a white woman is the ultimate prize.” I also think this psychological problem stems from the rape and sexual abuse of Black women and the subsequent bearing the master’s “mulatto” children. This phenomenon also established the need to take something from the master, his most prized possession…his white woman.

Women, in general, have always been “symbols” of power and status. Genghis Khan and his armies, slept with as many women as possible; he reportedly had 500 women at a time at his disposal. The same was the case with European slave masters. Slave owners ensured that, in addition to their wives and/or mistresses, they had a plethora of slave women. In essence, the deterioration of relationships between Black men and Black women stemmed from the enslavement and perversion (of sex) by Europeans.

To this day, Black culture is so corrupted that it can barely function. Blacks seem to be at the lowest point in every aspect of life: poverty, education, disease, family functionality - just fill in the blanks. CNN’s Black in America stated that 45% of successful Black women are single. So that raises a question, is the issue Black women or Black men?

to me it sounds like self hatred and insecurities that kick in whenever she sees a black man date a white woman. she acts as if all black men were looking for are white woman, asking "what is so appealing about white woman?". that question in itself reveals low self esteem because she is basically asking, "why do you find white woman more attractive than me".
as somebody else pointed out, the majority of black people is dating other black people, so there is no evidence that black men find white woman generally more attractive than black woman. there might be some who do, but than again, i know white guys who date exclusively black woman and i don't think that has anything to do with history. it is a matter of personal taste and i don't think there is any reason to discuss this or see it as a problem.

and whats worse than her rambling about slavemasters and the white woman as the ultimate prize, is that at the end she randomly states that "black culture is so corrupted it can barely function". first off, that is bs, second, what does this have to do with the question of dating a white woman, third if 45% of successful black woman are single i would suggest that it has to do with the fact that having a successful career and a family is difficult for all woman, and that the issue is neither black men nor black woman or the corruption of black culture.

The common denominator here is the black American woman since she gives birth to the black men.

Black women in America have attitude problems, in other words they like to run their mouths....I'm not saying be quiet and not exercise your opinion but there seems to be this attitude of disrespecting the black man in the black community.

Most successful black men don't want to deal with that, That's why most Corporate, NBA, NFL dudes go for anything other than black women.

It allows them to sleep at night.

Go to any internet viral video...90% of the time when a b!tch is getting stomped out for running their mouth it's a black woman.

From my own experience anytime I go out and there is a loud mouth somewhere, yup you guessed it, it's a black woman.

If black women want to be able to keep a man, they need to check their mouths and attitude because it STINKS!!!!!

I have a white gf. I was married to a sister for several years. After my divorce I dated equal numbers white women and black women. Guess what: all the sisters fussed and stormed out on me. In the end it was no deep rooted desire, just found a woman I could chill with without the drama. I really wanted my black wife and I tried my best to find another. She dumped me.

Perhaps I ain't shyt. I think I try to do the right thing. Anyways, that's my story. Just so happened to land on a white woman. If any of the sisters would have been cooperative then it may have been different.

I agree with the bolded. Shyt is a complex issue and I think black women AND men are to blame.

Many black men see white women as some prized possession and many black women see white men in the same light. Often times we are indirectly taught that the opposite sex of the same race is low key the enemy.

Many blacks men grow up hearing "bytches
aint shyt" and many black women grow up hearing "nyggas aint shyt". After hearing such comments and having personal experience many opt to not be bothered.

Then next thing you know they are dating outside of their race and putting that motha fukca on a pedastule.

My husband was asking me about Scandal and why women seems to be so hyped about Kerry Washington being with a white man. Besides the fact that the casting is amazing and they have actual sexual chemistry, I think it has a lot to do with what you've alluded to.

The media has been shouting loud and clear "Nobody wants black women, especially black men."

And while that's not true, because black people overwhelmingly date and marry other black people, it's like everybody got on this 'nobody wants black women train.'

When Essence and Ebony started with the cover stories about 'white women taking our black men...' It just threw me.

It just adds to the mystique for these white women who now think they have a one up on is cause our own damn publications (and CNN and Kim karsashian's black hole between her knees) got these chicks thinking they better.

It just emboldens them.

I think Scandal and the like are a counter attack on the last 10 years of anti black woman propaganda. I'm not sure how effective it will be, because bw seems more frenzied about it than ww.

I don't know any black woman who prefers a white man to a black one. But I know several who are now dating white men because they are tired of black men treating them like they are not something to want.

I'll go based off of what i've seen on Fb/Instagram. The white women cook/post pics of elaborate meals that they "made". The black chicks are posting grey hotdogs and canned pork n beans

Plus one of the major (or minor depending on who you're talking to) complaints that black men have had against us is that we don't cook (or don't cook as often) as they'd like--meanwhile, Becky supposedly cooks Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and all subsequent snacks from scratch...Everyday....


I just think all women (regardless of race) should learn how to cook. It's not hard to pick up a cook book or look it up on youtube. Nobody should be living on noodle ramen and grey hotdogs EVERY night.

lol they aren't better but I think some of them have been raised/taught how to take care of home more efficiently than some black women.

A lot can be learned from both sides. They can learn how to cook flavorful food from us and we can learn how to organize and color code our cardigans from them.

first of all, all these black magazines, articles and news reporting about interracial dating are trying to sell mags and papers and so they sensationalize everything. don't believe the hype.

as far as successful, educated black women not able to find black men, its because they think being successful and educated makes them more attractive (it doesn't). Some of them aren't even aware of it or trying to fix it. They probably lack in what makes them attractive (and i'm not talking about looks). Add there are also probably less black men on their level financially and status wise. Women reach up when dating. They always want someone better than them (it's nature). If they value status and finance, they reach up, if they get a lower man, it usually doesn't last long because she won't treat him like he wants to be treated.

if she reaches up, there aren't too many black men so the black men higher up basically pick the more attractive to them (physically, but also personality wise). One thing i'd like to clarify: I'm not saying that BWs don't have those attractive qualities that go beyond the physical. what i'm saying is that if they do have them, they get chosen quick. if they don't, they stay lonely and complain.
